A true Trieste gem: authentic flavors and a unique welcome... I visited Vecio Buffet Marascutti with two friends and we left smiling and full. A place that conveys the genuine soul of Trieste, where you can feel the atmosphere of home and eat like the old days. The owner is a delightful person: brisk but friendly, and you can immediately sense the passion of someone who truly loves their job. The goulash gnocchi were simply delicious, soft and well-seasoned, with a flavorful yet balanced sauce. The cod stew with polenta was a delightful surprise: tender, rich in flavor, and perfectly accompanied by warm, comforting polenta. A simple yet authentic place, with an atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. The service is quick, courteous, and unfussy, as it should be in a true trattoria. The quality-price ratio is excellent. Ultimately, this place is definitely worth a visit, especially if you're looking for a genuine, local culinary experience. I'll definitely be back!

The cooked ham as a fantastic appetizer, as well as the tagliolini with sardines and cherry tomatoes. Highly recommended.

I wanted to give it 5 stars because, even though we had booked at 6:15 PM for 9:00 PM, and had left a phone number, the kind owner DIDN'T seat us just because we were 19 minutes late. Why 5 stars? Well, because thanks to his refusal, we discovered the Le Botti restaurant, which welcomed us even though it was already 9:45 PM, and where we enjoyed an excellent dinner with typical Trieste products in a welcoming atmosphere. Why 5 stars? Because it would be absurd to denigrate a city or a restaurant where so many good people work, because of a small inconvenience... Ad maiora 💙

Ultima sera a Trieste, abbiamo cenato in questo locale che non conoscevo... Che piacevole sorpresa... Ambiente rustico ma accogliente, titolare simpatico e preparato, buon servizio al tavolo. Piatti semplici ma gustosi della cucina triestina, come gli gnocchi di pane 🍞 con gulasch o gnocchi di patate con gulasch, il tutto fatto in casa... Ottima la birra bionda ad accompagnare il tutto... si chiude in bellezza coi dolci: Kaiserschmarren o dolce dell'imperatore o lo strudel di noci con cannella... In questi casi non manca un amaro: amaro del Carso, medaglia d'oro 🏅.... Locale storico adatto a tutte le fasce d'età, famiglie comprese. Prezzi contenuti e non esagerati. Se si è a Trieste in vacanza o solo di passaggio, questo locale è una tappa importante... Complimenti...

Era qualche anno che avevo adocchiato online questo posto ma per un motivo o l'altro non ci ero ancora stata. Finalmente ho esauditi questa mia curiosità e ne sono stata contenta....ambiente carinissimo, caldo e caratteristico con un soffitto a volta in mattoni e arredamento in legno, bagno da rivedere. I prezzi forse leggermente alti secondo me però trieste è sempre più cara di Ltre località in regione. Il mio piatto del cuore....gnocchi di pane con ragù...erano veramente ottimi...mi sono solo dispiaciuta la porzione fosse sa 2..ne avrei mangiati 6 😀..ma in ogni caso sono grandi e consistente. L'altro piatto ordinato era l'arrosto ed era favolosamente morbido...si scioglieva in bocca quindi cibo super promosso.
