The owner was truly kind and welcoming, even though I was alone. He enthusiastically told me about the restaurant's history and its special dishes. The traditional dishes and desserts were delicious, well-prepared, and full of flavor. Everything was perfect, from the food to the atmosphere. A place you'll gladly return to.

A truly unforgettable experience at this historic establishment, which we stumbled upon almost by chance on a rainy evening. The authentic atmosphere of the place encouraged us to trust the owner, who was able to recommend the best dishes, topping it all off with a historical account of the origins of a typical dessert. The Giulianska (veal cutlet stuffed with prosciutto and fresh farmer's cheese) is a true gastronomic experience, unmatched in quality and quantity by any other similar dish I've tried. 6 stars, unmissable to say the least.

Ultima sera a Trieste, abbiamo cenato in questo locale che non conoscevo... Che piacevole sorpresa... Ambiente rustico ma accogliente, titolare simpatico e preparato, buon servizio al tavolo. Piatti semplici ma gustosi della cucina triestina, come gli gnocchi di pane 🍞 con gulasch o gnocchi di patate con gulasch, il tutto fatto in casa... Ottima la birra bionda ad accompagnare il tutto... si chiude in bellezza coi dolci: Kaiserschmarren o dolce dell'imperatore o lo strudel di noci con cannella... In questi casi non manca un amaro: amaro del Carso, medaglia d'oro 🏅.... Locale storico adatto a tutte le fasce d'età, famiglie comprese. Prezzi contenuti e non esagerati. Se si è a Trieste in vacanza o solo di passaggio, questo locale è una tappa importante... Complimenti...

Era qualche anno che avevo adocchiato online questo posto ma per un motivo o l'altro non ci ero ancora stata. Finalmente ho esauditi questa mia curiosità e ne sono stata contenta....ambiente carinissimo, caldo e caratteristico con un soffitto a volta in mattoni e arredamento in legno, bagno da rivedere. I prezzi forse leggermente alti secondo me però trieste è sempre più cara di Ltre località in regione. Il mio piatto del cuore....gnocchi di pane con ragù...erano veramente ottimi...mi sono solo dispiaciuta la porzione fosse sa 2..ne avrei mangiati 6 😀..ma in ogni caso sono grandi e consistente. L'altro piatto ordinato era l'arrosto ed era favolosamente morbido...si scioglieva in bocca quindi cibo super promosso.
