A very typical Trieste buffet, with a typical clientele, for those who want to enjoy a bit of the rustic Trieste lifestyle. The counter features cicchetti (small appetizers) and a menu featuring typical Trieste-style dishes. For lunch, I had a lovely large plate of cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, sauerkraut, and horseradish—all delicious! Friendly staff, excellent location in the city center.

Perfect, both the hot dishes offered and the canapés and the like, not to mention the good wines. Everything is always excellent, as is the fast and always very friendly service.

Positive: The staff! Personally, I find the quality and quantity to be well below the cost. The house red wine is served cold! The place is clean.

08/03/2026: The food was awesome. The shrimp noodles. Wine. Dumplings. Tasty. And enough. Great service. Fast. Could understand us clearly. Noodles quality was top. What else do you want when you are looking for lunch at late afternoon. We loved. We will come back if we are in Triesta. Keep up. You guys are super 👌
