Great food, cozy/fun atmosphere and very good experience overall. It gets very busy and loud so going a bit earlier may be a more enjoyable experience.

Characteristic room with ceiling beams that support copper cauldrons and brass musical instruments.
Professional service.
As an appetizer, excellent fried artichokes, first course Tuscan "tordelli", exquisite and not least the tagliatelle al quinta quarto, two glasses of a local red.
The bread is also very good, crunchy and thick crust, very soft crumb.
To finish cantuccini and vin santo.
Go there, it's worth it.

A very pleasant Sunday lunch.
This place is very traditional with formal service, but not at all stuffy. The menu is fairly local but with plenty of recognisable choices.
The only downside is point is that our pasta starter (Ravioli with ricotta) was for us overcooked, virtually no bite, but beautifully presented.
The mains (goat & grilled veal) were superb.
The wine list is great with local & regional favourites including half bottles and decent wines by the glass.
Quite a sophisticated atmosphere, well dressed staff and immaculate table settings.
There were plenty of families & groups as well as couples.
All in all, highly recommended.

Our first time in Lucca. This restaurant was recommended by our hotel. We didn’t have a reservation but luckily we had space. It’s definitely a top class restaurant with champagne served for starters. The dishes were amazing. The service was professional and the ambiance relaxed and cozy.

Locale carino ma un po buio.
Abbiamo mangiato un tortino ai carciofi, tortellini al ragù ed infine un fritto misto con carciofi,agnello,coniglio e cervello.
Tutto buono ma senza wow.

Everything is impeccable in this well-kept place with a peaceful atmosphere.
Good quality, even if small portions, but you can't have everything. Medium-high price.

Excellent restaurant. Excellent food beautifully plated. True flavors in particular egg with truffle. Nice environment and great courtesy and helpfulness of the staff. Adequate prices. Highly recommended

Ambiente molto curato e accogliente, personale gentile e ottima cucina .
Piatti tipici toscani . Gnocchi al ragù , trippa e per finire dessert “frutta caramellata con gelato alla castagna “ , è stata la mia scelta … tutto molto buono , alla dieta ci si pensa un’altro giorno .
