Restaurant in the heart of Assisi with very knowledgeable and kind staff. Average starters and desserts but more than excellent main courses: exceptional stuffed pasta and pigeon cooked to perfection. Very intimate, romantic and private environment.

Beautiful historic place, nothing to say about the garden either. Starter and crescia not excellent, as if it had been reheated, and the bread not fresh and of poor quality. I had asked for Montefalco wine but they only offered us two types of wine: Sangiovese and Grechetto. This poor wine list makes a bad impression. I thought better.

Abbiamo preso strapazzata al tartufo molto buona e tris di cresce (un po’ così..sembravano solo riscaldate) , scarsa proposta di vini , non c’era Montefalco, peccato.
Locale e giardino bellissimi, servizio cordiale
Prezzi un po’ alti per la qualità .

Very refined venue, a beautiful outdoor garden, formal environment. Excellent service, fast and staff always available. The dinner was reasonably good, the two first courses of good quality, the second course, the Umbrian sausage, excellent cooking even if the sausage where I come from (Sicily) has a completely different flavor and preparation. Excellent dessert. Average prices, €56 including 0.5l of wine.

Very nice place located in a location that needs no introduction. Elegant atmosphere with friendly staff. Excellent food with harmonious and delicate flavours. Excellent dishes with careful presentation. Wide choice of wines. I recommend this place to those looking for cuisine with typical Umbrian dishes. Top

We had a very enjoyable dining experience here recently. The restaurant was empty when we first walked in, but it wasn’t long before other diners arrived. All the food we chose was beautifully prepared and was delicious. The service was friendly, courteous and professional. The ambience was refined. The owner told us that he opened the restaurant 50 years ago. We think he’s created something special and hope he continues to run the restaurant for many more years to come! From his wine list we chose a bottle of 2020 Moretti Omero ‘Faccia Tosha’ Montefalco Rossi Riserva which was magnificent with its intense flavour, colour and nose.
