We were in Assisi last week and stumbled upon this restaurant by chance. We were truly delighted with the delicious dishes. The staff was friendly and the atmosphere was welcoming. Highly recommended!

We travel in a complex family circumstance which makes dining difficult. We stayed just a door down at a local B&B, which suggested we try BdSF. We entered at open and it wasn't busy at all. We were greeted promptly and tabled immediately. The waiters and staff were very formal, but kind. Once we received out food, I broke down in tears after the first bite. My dish was the Spaghetti with pork cheek and carmelized onions. It was nuanced and perfectly balanced, with pasta expertly cooked. The best Italian food I've had in my life, and I've enjoyed a great deal. If you are in Assisi, THIS is THE place to eat. We ate here twice, and both times it was most excellent. Thank you Giovanni, and crew for such an exceptional experience. I'd travel back to Italy, on planes and trains, just to come back again for a meal. 10/10, would pork cheek again.

Highly recommended restaurant. We came in for lunch almost at closing time, but were warmly welcomed by the staff as if they'd just started their shift. The waiters were extremely kind and professional. The dishes were exceptional. We ordered both first and second courses, and they were all delicious, not to mention the desserts. They offer both classic and more unique dishes, all made with great care and delicious. At the end of the meal, we even got a little surprise: a beautifully decorated souvenir plate from the restaurant (to get it, you have to order the soup 😉😉).

The food is good, we tried most of the starters and main courses and none have been criticized. The prices are very competitive and the staff in charge are welcoming and offer this nostalgia that is always pleasant to live. The location is fantastic! Would definetly go back!

Excellent staff and delicious dishes

A restaurant in the center of Assisi. The stone-paved area is very welcoming, while the other room is a typical restaurant. The quality dishes and first-rate service met our expectations. The price is average.
