We're back after eating at Buatta on the most baroque street in the city.
We were greeted by a very kind young lady who gave us some tips on the menu.
In fact, we ordered a delicious fennel, orange, and herring salad.
Then it was lentil meatballs with caramelized onions on a bed of yogurt.
Finally, Buatta with basmati rice spiced with curry and turmeric, and pieces of chicken cooked in coconut milk, and cod with caramelized onions and diced polenta.
Everything was incredibly good, and I'd definitely go back to try other delicacies!

A small, welcoming restaurant in the city center. Traditional dishes, some reinterpretations, and plenty of innovation—a mix that works.
They specialize in "cunzatizzi": a bread cunzato (seasoned) with delicious, local ingredients. I tried the Zola and pear bread, which was delicious.
Next, the beef tartare with Tuma chestnuts was delicious.
To finish, a chocolate and salted caramel tart.
Special mention goes to Federica, who is friendly and knows how to deal with customers.
Good service, medium-high prices.

I can only say that!!! There is nothing to say...!! Let's start with the managers... Niccolò and Damiano, two helpful guys, two guys with a smile and above all two prepared guys... they know where they want to go and certainly what to do... the place is small but welcoming, small but enveloping, let's say, they have all the credentials of a large respectable restaurant... the guys in the dining room, very polite and present, never leave the tables uncovered. What did I eat? I would say that.... the absolute prize does not go to the beauty of the owners, mha!! To everything I ate... from the gourmet focaccias (extraordinary) to the meatballs, SUPER meatballs, the ones that make you think of grandma, the smell of home on a Sunday morning, the sauce of the past. I praised this place and I am sure I will return and not only that, but, I really highly recommend it... for those like me who have never been... Thank you for the hospitality, thank you for the kindness, but a huge thank you goes to the chef!!

Today I decided to have lunch at this little restaurant.
Everything was delicious and flavorful.
The fries as an appetizer were delicious.
The very soft meatballs in a fresh tomato sauce with cheese strips and crispy bread strips made everything even more inviting.
The special thing is how they're served...in a buatta, a typical Sicilian container.
A soft and warm hazelnut brownie served with a praline ice cream, which I chose pistachio. Of course, it was perfectly chilled, the mix of hot and cold was truly delicious.
The service was truly impeccable.
Absolutely recommended, and I'll be back.

Delicious Margherita pizza, carbonara, and lasagna. Service was excellent, and the restaurant was open during the classic Sicilian and Italian lunch break, which is a HUGE plus. We'll be back! 🛵🍋🏛️🍕
