Buatta In Catania

When you visit a new city for the first time and feel the need to go back to eat in the same place at least a second time, it means that it is a SPECIAL place!!! All the appetizers are excellent, creativity and goodness abounds in every dish. Recommended for dining in a slightly different way...👍

We tried this place to take advantage of an offer on TheFork, however the application gave us availability from 10pm. We contacted the establishment who came to meet us by changing the time (having availability). The two of us took: - an octopus taco: special; - a gricia with fried artichokes: SPACE - woodland buatta and peasant flavours: another very particular dish, but a little killed by the gricia eaten before 😂 - vedallo and meringue: the verdello semifreddo was also amazing, in general it was a dessert I had never tried, the combination with the meringue didn't convince me The location is also excellent due to its proximity to the historic center (a little less if you have to look for parking), the outdoor tables are on a pedestrian street, surrounded by historic architecture.

Good food in a characteristic but quiet area! Very pleasant to eat outside. We recommend the “cunzatizzi” and the “arancinetti di Baccalà”

A wonderful escape from the hustle and bustle amidst traditional flavors in a new edition. It was delicious, I'll gladly come back!

I ate very well, the Buatta was very good and the speed of service improved a little and I was overall very satisfied

Good little restaurant not at all touristy with original and tasty dishes, friendly service and nice terrace in the charming Via dei Crociferi

Excellent aperitif in the cute outdoor area. Prices a little high (€36) for what you see in the photo. I specify that the two dishes we ordered were actually two appetizers. If you order before 7pm there are discounts on drinks.

Wij kwamen al wandelend toevallig bij Buatta terecht. Het zag er leuk uit en we kregen een tafeltje buiten in het rustige, gezellige straatje. Er was een vriendelijke achtergrondmuziek en een kalm geroezemoes van gasten. We kozen de pasta alla Norma en een vegetarische ‘cunzatizzo’, met een frisse salade erbij. De Norma was zeer goed bereid, met geroosterde stukjes aubergine, pasta al dente, verse kruiden en een volle, rijke tomatensaus. De cunzatizzo was nieuw voor ons: een bodem van een soort luchtig brooddeeg, met een grote hoeveelheid geroosterde groenten mooi gerangschikt erop: een aangename ontdekking! We dronken er mineraalwater bij. Als dessert namen we espresso en huisgemaakte tiramisu, die zacht en luchtig was, een echte dolce. We hebben in alle rust kunnen eten, de medewerkers waren attent, vriendelijk en duidelijk trots op hun restaurant, en de rekening was keurig gespecificeerd. Wij raden een diner bij Buatta van harte aan!

Parada en el almuerzo, 2 pizzas una Norma una vegetariana, ambos geniales! Divertida mezcla de música perfecta para el almuerzo, el gerente fue atento y un placer. No dudaría en volver!
