23/04/2025: "Old style" Piola in an atmosphere of times gone by. Good food, average wines, innkeeper with few frills. "POP" bathroom!

21/04/2025: It's a rather special place... about twenty seats inside shared on 5/6 tables and the same number when the weather permits, in the courtyard. Very simple furnishings...probably authentic and from the 1930s/40s. A sign reads: "if you drink, you stand. if you eat, you sit." There are white, rosé and red wines available...house wines (1/2 liter and liter glass) and non-house wines (by the glass, bottle).. last night everyone was Piedmontese. Many appetizers available: spinach "friciulin", meatballs, polenta, veal with tuna sauce, raw meat, green anchovies, tomini, hummus, apple fritters, cutting boards, potato croquettes, semolina... and perhaps more... polite and polite staff. Many young people and how nice...many foreigners. Moderate prices. Absolutely worth knowing!!!
