*5 out of 5 stars!* I returned to Brasseur hugo 2.0 in Cosenza for the second time, and I can confidently say it's one of those places that captivates you at first sight. 😊 The quality of the food is simply exceptional: the sandwiches are prepared with care and attention, the meat is tender and flavorful, and the meatballs are a true highlight. But it's not just the food that makes the difference: the staff is extremely kind and professional, always ready to offer a smile and advice. The place itself is a true gem: the decor is thoughtful and welcoming, the music is perfect for setting the right mood, and the beer selection is impressive. But what really makes the difference are the owners, who have created a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel at home. In short, Brasseur hugo 2.0 is a place that offers a complete, high-quality experience, perfect for an evening with friends or family. I will definitely return, because it is a place worth experiencing and reliving.

Let's start with the fried chicken, which was the only truly good thing with sweet and sour sauce. I had fries that were clearly frozen, but the problem was they were really full of salt. We ordered the same sandwich, removing one ingredient each, although the request wasn't honored and the sandwich was returned. Both sandwiches were decent, the bread left much to be desired, not even the slightest bit grilled, and the sandwich arrived at my table disheveled. My requests to the waitresses (perhaps due to the crowd) were ignored; half the time you raised your hand, they went straight by. We ordered drinks, but they didn't arrive before the food, and we ate without drinks, even though I'd asked for them. I also had to ask for the glasses they'd forgotten to put on. The sauces were the same... Overall, it might not have been their fault because there were too many people, but as a customer, I wasn't served properly, neither for drinks nor sauces nor for my sandwich requests... The atmosphere was perfect at first, then a nice band started playing, but the volume was too high and it was impossible to talk. Plus, there were children running around between the tables and climbing everywhere with no respect for others.

A very pleasant surprise. Just a few minutes from the highway exit, I discovered this wonderful pub/bistro, a charming place with stunning, industrial-style furnishings. The cuisine features some dishes with Senegalese influences, as well as delicious burgers. Everything is fresh and made to order. Live music is often available, an increasingly rare and appreciated feature. The staff is attentive and friendly, and the prices are moderate. Highly recommended.

We knew this place was great, but we were a bit disappointed with the food. We were impressed by the new management, which has brought everything to a fantastic level. The menu offers a good selection, and the beer list is varied. The meatballs are amazing, the burgers are juicy and tasty. The Fataya are a dreamlike experience. The price is perfect. We'll be back very soon!

Beautiful place, meticulously maintained down to the smallest detail. The welcome was fantastic. The food was excellent, and the wait was minimal: everything was very quick despite the high attendance. Highly recommended if you're looking for quality and a pleasant atmosphere in Cosenza.

Brasseur Hugo is located in the heart of Cosenza, just steps from Piazza Bilotti. The location is stunning; the decor, wallpaper, seating, and counter are all beautifully designed and pleasing to the eye. The menu is quite extensive, with plenty of choices for appetizers, sandwiches, and entrees. Service is a bit slow, but the staff is courteous, cheerful, and knowledgeable. The appetizers are excellent, especially the fried chicken and the fataya, which are exceptional and a nice surprise. The sandwiches are large and well-stocked, and delicious. A truly positive experience 😁🍺🍔

New management... The atmosphere is clean and very welcoming, almost like a suburban pub. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The chef knows his stuff, even when it comes to allergens and dishes for the pickiest of eaters. Good beer.... The sandwiches are top-notch, the fried food is unsurpassed, and the stew is a must-try. A lovely surprise.

A lovely place in the center of Cosenza, with a wide selection of beers and an excellent menu. We went there with friends and had a wonderful evening. Don't miss the delicious meatballs (meat, eggplant, and rice) and the fatayah, a treat you can only find here! These are slightly spicy dumplings filled with meat and spices, typical of Senegalese cuisine... so delicious!
