For my partner's birthday I thought about taking her to eat somewhere close to home where we could eat good meat. I did some research on the internet and among the various places Brasa Querta came up, a restaurant with top quality meats and grilled meat as a specialty. The good reviews directed the choice to this location. I called to get some information. The person who answered me was very kind and helpful and, at my request, also explained the meaning of the aging of the meat. Then I booked. The place is very nice with a warm atmosphere and it seems to me that it is divided into 2 rooms with not many tables. Tastefully furnished like the coat rack that has forks as a coat hanger. Among the different types of meat offered, we were undecided and so we asked for advice, the waitress offered us a tasting of 3 cuts of meat for a weight of about 1 kg. The waitress showed us the cutting board with the 3 cuts of meat chosen and that she would have cooked for us, namely a Garronese Veneta rib eye, a Brasa Strip Steak and a Danish red rib eye. The waitress explained to us the origin of the meat and the aging they had done. In addition we ordered a bottle of water, a glass of red wine and a portion of grilled vegetables (eggplant, courgettes and peppers). After a few minutes the waitress came back with the first 2 cuts of meat, the side dish ordered, another offering of roast potatoes and 3 glass jars containing salt (classic, whole and Himalayan). Between the Garronese rib eye and the Brasa Strip Steak I preferred the rib eye more which I tasted/enjoyed a lot with the salts they brought us. Then came the Danish rib eye, also very good and much tastier than the others, also due to a longer aging time. I can't call it a flaw, but in my opinion the roast potatoes lacked a bit of flavor and the grilled vegetables should have been cooked for a longer time. What can I say? Ambience 8, Service 10, Meat 9, Sides 7.

Posto piccolo ma molto curato e carino, il fatto che non ci siano molti posti lo rende ancora più accogliente. Menu non ampissimo ma molto curato, si vede che fanno poche cose ma buone e di qualità. Abbiamo preso una tartare molto buona e un secondo di carne che era davvero saporita. Ci sono state spiegate anche le differenze dei tagli di carne e ci è stata fatta vedere la carne prima di cucinarla. Abbiamo preso un vino rosso molto buono. Servizio ottimo e dolci molto buoni. Noi ci torneremo sicuramente!

An excellent restaurant on all points: super well cooked meat, burger, tatataki at the top and the pasta like carbonara was a treat. We loved the little touches: appetizer, digestive...and with very friendly service at a very affordable price Bravo and thank you!

We had dinner at this place and were satisfied, good quality food with beautiful presentation of the dishes. The only negative note is the wait a little too long to bring the dishes. The friendly waiters. Price normal. I recommend it

Very industrial and nice environment, tasting of good first courses, tastings of 4 types of meat good 2 out of 4, meat a little nervous, some cuts a little overcooked, the price a little high for the meat you eat, the wine excellent

Dinner for 4 people last night. I didn't know the restaurant and out of curiosity we went in. Well-kept and quiet environment, easy to reach and with a small car park in front of the restaurant. We chose 2 appetizers to share and their dry-aged meat tasting. (It was the best choice) Very competent and trained staff on the meat and maturation product. Excellent value for money. I recommend it to anyone who loves the world of matured meats.

Brasa Querta is heaven for meat lovers! We tried an exceptional Florentine steak and a simply perfect cut: very high quality meat, cooked to perfection and with an incredible flavour. The side dishes, such as the roast potatoes, were also tasty and well prepared. All accompanied by very kind staff, always attentive and available for every request, which made the experience even more pleasant. The environment is welcoming and refined, perfect for a relaxing dinner. To conclude, the dessert was a true masterpiece! Highly recommended, we will definitely be back!

in questo locale dagli spazi contenuti e intimi,ti trovi subito a proprio agio,la sapienza e passione di questi ragazzi e' ammirevole,sapientemente ti spiegano la loro gastronomia di alta qualita'.Rapporto qualita' e prezzo e' buono,unica nota se si deve bere bene bisogna ordinare una buona bottiglia.Da ritornarci sicuramente.

17/05/2025: Didn’t want to sit outside in the lane so opted for the little garden area at the back, it was nice to sit and eat without people checking out your plates. Food was nice, waiters efficient but not particularly friendly. Half litre wine, 2 mains, one desert.€45.00 however you are given a free focaccia, a free palette cleanser and a limoncello, so probably the best value meal we had all week.
17/05/2025: One of the best restaurant here in Florence. Pizza and pasta are so delicious and the team are so friendly. Special thank to Nada who served us from heart
