A great place to have breakfast on Via Merulana, the main street. It's a cafe, restaurant, and ice cream parlor with a variety of sandwiches, toast, and pastries. We tried the chicken and green mayonnaise sandwich, which is served warmed up like toast and tasted wonderful. The croissants and other pastries are also very good. I recommend it to everyone. The American coffee and tea from the teapot were also very good. The total cost for two people was around 20 euros.

We visited this place several times as their gelato was pretty good. My friends ordered the slushie drink but I had the coconut gelato and it was good. I also tried the pistachio gelato which is also good. I recommend this place to try it. Server was very nice and professional. I wish this place had a area where you can sit down and enjoy your gelato but we took good to go. If they had an area to sit down it wasn't very obvious.

Enoteca Bonomi Wine Bar

17/10/2025: I didn't know about this wonderful, slightly hidden corner of the Appian Way. Excellent wines and great company. We'll definitely be back.
07/10/2025: A cute and welcoming place. It's small inside, but there are plenty of tables outside; there are even blankets available for windier, cooler days. We had a spritz and had a nice chat. Gianluca, the owner (I think), was super helpful.
