One of the most surprising aspects of this restaurant is that, unlike other places, we didn't feel the slightest urge to drink afterward, such was the quality of the dishes.

Located in a narrow street in the historic center, BRACERIA VOGLIA DI CARNE 2.0 boasts a discreet facade that conceals a quaint interior. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, with well-spaced tables and pleasant background music. The staff, led by owner Salvatore, was attentive without being overbearing. There's a wide selection of wines; we ordered the platter for four. The selection of cured meats and cheeses was a wonderful discovery, plentiful and flavorful, but most importantly, homemade. Looking for a flaw? There isn't one. The dishes were served with perfect timing, and every question about the menu received detailed and expert answers. The tagliatella with porcini mushrooms and sausage was perfectly creamy, with the tagliatella al dente and mushrooms boasting an intense but not overpowering flavor. Special praise goes to the tubetti with Giffoni round hazelnuts, local ricotta cheese, and sausage—it can't be explained, it just has to be tasted. The steak, a local red-pezzata, was cooked exactly as requested, with a flavorful crust on the outside and a juicy, pink interior. Overall, the grill offers a high-quality dining experience, especially recommended for romantic dinners or special occasions. And the owner, what a delightful person. I highly recommend stopping here if you're passing through Giffoni.
