Small but welcoming place.
We went for lunch with the restaurant literally empty. The exceptional food: from cured meats to mozzarella knots to meat!
Masterly cooking, super appreciated vinaigrette and excellent potatoes as a side dish.
Honest price and in line with the quality of the food!

The "Rosso di sera" grill restaurant is the pinnacle of Martinese food and wine culture. Located just outside the historic center of Martina Franca, it is a small but welcoming place run by the Cervellera family... authentic lovers of the Apulian butcher's shop.
As per a typical Apulian restaurant, it offers a meat counter from which you can directly choose what you want to eat and then, the Cervelleras' expert hands work with the stove to offer an exceptional result in the end.
The must of this place is the capocollo, offered in the variations of the DOP cured meat and in the strips that literally melt
in the mouth bite after bite. Also inevitable are bowler hats and ash potatoes.
Basically, in simple terms... you can sit blindfolded and be sure that you will eat just fine whatever you choose.
Being a small place, reservations are necessary. The staff is always friendly, it is a family-run place where parents and children work offering customers the best possible service.

Coming from Turin in search of real bowler hats, we couldn't have found anything better! Excellent welcome, the owner took care to bring us a taste of all the best products, from the cold cuts platter, which obviously couldn't miss the excellent capocollo, to a series of bombettes of various types (one more delicious than the other) , fillet and sausage. We ate a lot (and what we had left over was put in a tray so we could take it away), we didn't spend little but what we spent was absolutely adequate for the quantity and quality of the food we were served!

Everything was delicious, the staff were welcoming. We ate really good cured meats from their production and mixed roasts which were fabulous. Highly recommended!!
