The place is nice, although the tables are too close together. The service leaves a lot to be desired, with only one person at the tables + the owner. There's no wine list; you have to get up to go to the wine list as soon as you enter, where the finest wines are covered in dust (meaning they've been there for years and therefore poorly stored) and choose from what's available. We asked for two bottles of the same wine, he brought one, and then told us he didn't have any left. The wine was from 2013 and was corked. We had to opt for a cheaper Apulian wine, which wasn't among our initial choices.
The meat was excellent, however, and it arrived fairly quickly. €53 per person with two bottles of wine and water.
The price is more or less in line with other places, but the poor management of the cellar is a major drawback for a grill restaurant.

Fantastic dinner! The meat was excellent! Appetizers like ossobuco tartare and meatballs were truly delicious, but the star of the evening was the Florentine steak! Outstanding quality! Even the refined wine selection, courteous service, and fresh, homemade desserts! It was the first time at Mangiafuoco, but it certainly won't be the last! See you soon!

I visited this restaurant a few nights ago, and my experience was quite disappointing. The food, for my taste, was good and well-cooked. But as we all know, quality isn't determined solely by content, but also by presentation. The wait for a table was quite long—I'd even say too long, considering there isn't even any waiting room inside. I try to empathize with the owners and employees, and I imagine the stress when there's a lot of customers. So, if I were them, I might have opted not to have two reservations, but just one, and in an intermediate time slot. This would give more importance to an activity that focuses on quality. When I asked about the wait times, I was told, "The bill arrived at the table, but if people linger to chat at the table, we can't kick them out." Well, that's only half the truth; if you decide to work two shifts, you also take on the responsibility of assertively asking to vacate the table for the next shift. There are ways to explain it, without misunderstanding. In fact, this delay led me and the others at my table to be the last ones to leave the restaurant. It was unpleasant to find ourselves chatting right after finishing our meal, and to see the tables being cleaned around us. My words, in fact, were: I imagined we'd find ourselves witnessing this scene. It's unfortunate, because it's not nice to feel like the last one in the room while the cleaning begins around you.
That said, I hope the comment is taken into consideration, not as an insult, but as food for thought for improving the service. There was an air of tension, of haste... extremely unpleasant, which leads to no smiles or adequate hospitality, even from the owners and employees. Overall, it wasn't a pleasant experience; in fact, despite being a grill restaurant in the city, I don't think I'll return anytime soon.

We were seated after more than 30 minutes despite having made a reservation through The Fork. When asked to explain the type of meat (entrecote and tagliata), the response was almost derisive. There's no wine list; you choose at the counter with the owner by looking at the wine list... highly questionable!
The dishes arrived very slowly, and the The Fork discount wasn't applied unless you demonstrated it through the app.

We spent more than 100 euros, which is fair, we got a lot of stuff, two quality steaks, two tartares, wine, vegetables, mushrooms, strips, potato slices and, everything really good, the only flaw, we asked for a sample of sausage before the steak, we had asked for one piece each, so a small plate, we received an unwanted sperlunga which then ruined the final steaks. Maybe we didn't understand each other.

The chicken cutlet was excellent, and I also recommend the tartare with capers. The side dishes were also delicious. We didn't even have to wait long.
