Last night, we were looking for a late-night restaurant in the Isola area and stopped in front of La Peppa. Apulian cuisine, 90% meat-based, specializes in bombette (a type of pasta) made in a thousand variations. My brother and father had the house mixed platter, my mother had the orecchiette with turnip greens, and I had the cream of fava beans with turnip greens. My dish was good and plentiful (despite it being an appetizer), we all left quite satisfied, and the price was reasonable.

Exquisite dishes, spectacular and very generous orecchiette, delicious meatballs in tomato sauce, and very good bombette. Prices are fair for the quality. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service is very friendly.

Friendly and helpful service, excellent and plentiful food, highly recommended the grill (you could eat three of it in my opinion) and the house digestif is also excellent.

04/03/2026: Very friendly staff, good food, unfortunately the location isn't the best in the evening because the supermarket turns off the heat at a certain time, and with the revolving door, it gets cold afterwards. Sitting in the back of the room is less noisy. And then, unfortunately, at a certain point they have to close a little early to get everything sorted out (9:30 PM) because the supermarket then closes at 10:00 PM. And if, like us, you arrive around closing time, you won't get dessert.
