Very good food. The owner was very attentive and friendly. He opened the kitchen for us even though it was already closed and served us very kindly. We also had a private concert. It was great!

A wonderful discovery. A beautiful place in the typical cellars. We received a very warm welcome even though we arrived after 2 p.m. The owner and server were very friendly. The dishes were truly generous and of good quality. The antipasti platter was delicious, and the mixed grill meat was very good. I highly recommend this establishment.

Dopo anni torno in Puglia e come non rifare l'esperienza culinaria da Il Piccio con cibi genuini delle murge trattati sapientemente da Felice che ci riserva sempre delle sorprese con la sua ospitalità. Teresa di Brescia

20/10/2025: Very nice hotel. Beautiful surroundings. The hotel has a large outdoor pool. Breakfast is good. I recommend it!
18/10/2025: Is it beautiful? Yes. Is it clean? Yes. Is the staff friendly and competent? Yes. BUT the devil is in the details - and being a 4 star hotel is about details. We were on the third floor and the wifi was just terrible. Kept dropping and reconnecting. This is not acceptable in 2025 in a Mercure. Moreover - how is it possible for all the paintings not to hang correctly off the walls? The shower was spacious, with great water pressure - but the glass pane has water traces that are not wiped off daily. The breakfast buffet has a great selection... But the cornetti offered were pitiful and the cappuccinos we were served were very poor given the fact this is an Italian hotel. Conclusion: If you want a nice, clean, restful place to sleep in in a beautiful setting, the Mercure is for you. But they need to work on getting everything right, and not just the big picture.
