A unique restaurant worth discovering. You have to choose your meat before sitting down. The staff is very helpful. If you want potatoes, don't arrive too early as they won't be cooked. Thank you again for welcoming us so early.

I remember Mimmo when he had a butcher's shop on Via Bari in Valenzano... my mother was a regular customer... now he has customers who come from all over... a grill restaurant known far beyond just the province.

06/01/2026: The atmosphere is bright and welcoming, the staff knowledgeable and friendly. Not to mention the excellent, tasty, fresh, and delicious food. If you want to enjoy seafood while gazing at the vibrant colors of the sea, this restaurant is the place to be.
30/12/2025: We booked over the phone and agreed on a budget. When we got to the checkout, they surprised us: the bill was much higher than we'd agreed upon.

14/01/2026: I really wanted to try spaghetti all' assasina and I think this is the best place for it! The food is great, the service also. One of our best dinner in Bari!
12/01/2026: We had the pleasure of dining at Al Sorso Preferito, the birthplace of Spaghetti all’Assassina, and it did not disappoint. From the reservation call—where a kind woman patiently helped me despite my beginner Italian—to the warm, welcoming atmosphere, everything felt special. We ordered the house red wine and were surprised with a generous pitcher—smooth, local, and incredibly easy to drink. Our server recommended the fried artichokes for aperitivo, and they were excellent. The Spaghetti all’Assassina was the star of the meal: bold, spicy, and absolutely delicious. My husband’s orecchiette al ragù was also fantastic. Great food, great service, and a must-visit in Bari. 🍝🍷
