Braceria Barbanera In Mesagne

First time in Mesagne and first time at this Barbanera grill restaurant. Lunch was already planned, including appetizers, a first course, a second course, fruit, and coffee. Attentive and fairly quick service, friendly and efficient. We ate well; the tagliata was excellent, perfectly cooked and not dry. The restaurant is truly beautiful, built over a Messapian tomb visible under the glass floor. Stone vaults and truly lovely decor...especially the plates! There's also a room above the butcher's area where you can choose the meat you'd like to enjoy at the table; it is a grill restaurant, after all. 5 stars because it was a truly wonderful experience.

The place is charming and well located. We were warmly welcomed and seated very quickly. The pasta dish was tasty with a delicious basil flavor. We loved being able to select the meats directly from the butcher. The cuts were tender, well-seasoned, and the potatoes very flavorful. A big plus for the team, especially our server, who was very friendly. Go there with your eyes closed 😎 PS: The wait for our meals was a bit long, despite everything.

The atmosphere is welcoming and elegant, and owners Valentina and Mimmo are friendly and attentive to their customers. The menu is extensive and the dishes are delicious, with high-quality ingredients at the forefront. It was a truly positive experience, and we'll definitely be repeating it soon.

Five-star food. Service could be improved greatly, especially the guy taking your order at the meat counter, who seems almost annoyed at having to serve you. The location is beautiful. The Primitivo, served by the half-liter, is very good.

Truly an experience to remember and return to. This fabulous place has floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the ancient ruins of Mesagne. That alone is worth coming in. Then you can choose your own meat and have it cooked to order. It's truly special, with mostly local products. I recommend my favorite dish, the turcinelli. They're spectacular. The staff is friendly and professional. The draft beer is also excellent. What can I say? Thank you for your dedication! Six stars!

Restaurant with its own butcher shop and historical excavations under bulletproof glass in the restaurant floor. Very good food at surprisingly reasonable prices. Attentive service and pleasant seating. Definitely eat there!

The Bombette pizza was delicious, even though they made us wait 7 minutes. The only flaw was that I ordered grilled vegetables and I received two ash-baked potatoes... excellent anyway! Well done!

Posto pulito ed accogliente, con personale qualificato. Ottima la carne. Ogni volta un piacere andare a mangiare da Mimmo e Uccio. Consigliatissimo.
