La Morra, a beautiful medieval village known for its stunning panoramic views of the Langhe region from its hilltop location (which you can see from this restaurant) where we had lunch plans. One of my step-sister and her husband's favorite spots, Bovio Restaurant. This is where I discovered the Italian culture of courses. Most restaurants insist you order a starter and then a main course; this is the Italian way, and I’m so happy we did, as the food was absolutely delicious. My favorite was the seared calamari and tortellini en brood, which was the owner's grandmother's recipe. For dessert, we shared two tiramisu's, and it was divine!!!

Pamper yourself with focaccia, breadsticks, homemade bread with sourdough, salted and whipped butter, an entrée with marinated carpaccio and a sampling of sweets. I took cheek, plin with three roasts, tartare with black truffle and tajarin, all delicate and very good. Attentive and very kind staff. Absolutely to return.

12/04/2025: Despite the good food, the seriousness leaves something to be desired. Reservation for 18 made on Sunday for the following Saturday, upon arrival there was a table prepared for 13, they then placed a separate table for two, because in the end there were 15 of us and thank goodness if there had been 18 of us I don't know where they put us, seeing as the place was packed. In the end not even a coffee was offered for the inconvenience!!!

23/02/2025: I stumbled upon it by chance. Modern place with retail meat sales, restaurant and bar I ordered the butcher's bite cooked rare accompanied by a puree. The meat was amazing, exceptional, I recommend it to everyone. I also had an excellent gin and tonic with an apererol and some excellent appetizers nearby My partner also took and cottecchino with a bottle of water, all of which we spent €38. ,
