We had lunch today at this simple and elegant restaurant, run by young people who are clearly passionate about their work. The dishes are carefully prepared using quality ingredients, as is the warm welcome and kindness of the young waitress: the "strascinati" with crusco peppers are a must-try.

Tonight for the first time I was in this very nice place, first of all the kindness and smile of the girl who welcomes you but the spectacle of what we ate left me happily satisfied... puccia with meat strips, buffalo cream and porcini mushrooms, oh my how wonderful the meat melted in your mouth 🔝🔝🔝🔝🔝 and the potatoes with the skin how delicious, amazing draft beer in short you have to go there, I will definitely be back... well done and congratulations 🥰

A small restaurant, found by chance. While driving along the Basentana highway, we decided it was lunchtime, so we'd exit at the first village, so we did, stopping at Botti's and Padelle. They helped us park our car, as we happened to be there during school pickup time. Friendly owner, fast service. Will keep that in mind for next time.

09/03/2026: Excellent gluten-free lunch in the heart of Matera. We tried the carbonara classica. It was creamy, rich, with crispy guanciale and pecorino. Added a consommé di pescato full of flavor, and finished with a chocolate fondant topped with crushed nuts, served on a slate board. All dishes were very tasty. Warm and welcoming atmosphere with cozy Italian décor and a nice wine selection; tried a local red wine similar to Primitivo. The service felt genuinely caring, like a friendly family business. Most of the menu is available gluten-free, cooked on a separate cooking line in the kitchen.
04/03/2026: I was a guest of a group at this place for the first time. Excellent food and a family atmosphere.

17/08/2025: I decided to celebrate my birthday with a seafood dinner. Despite being far from the sea, the fish was delicious, incredibly fresh, and cooked to perfection. I've since returned, and the meat menu and pizza are equally as good. The prices are fair, especially considering the quality. I absolutely recommend it.
