Bottega Roots In Siena

I returned to this restaurant and found it to be a truly special place, with a welcoming atmosphere, thoughtful decor, and excellent background music. The food was a pleasant surprise: I tried several shared dishes and everything was delicious, especially a delicious reinterpretation of classic Tuscan crostini. The only downside was the somewhat inconsistent service; at times inattentive and almost aloof.

I returned to Bottega Roots after a long time away, and was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food. While I used to go there just for an aperitivo, now it's a real pleasure to sit down with friends and enjoy dinner while listening to good music. We ordered a few mixed plates so we could share everything and try more; and it was all delicious! I absolutely loved their reinterpretation of Tuscan crostino nero! Everything was perfect except for the service. A little more smile from the bartender and a little more attention from the waitresses would make this place perfect! See you soon!
