We had the swordfish cream ravioli for dinner on the waitress's recommendation, and they were incredible. We also ordered the eggplant parmesan, which was a hit. All washed down with an Aperol Spritz. A great atmosphere and great music... So much so that we stayed for a drink afterward. Highly recommended.

The atmosphere is very comfortable, and there was a band playing. The service is a bit slow, but the waiter was very welcoming! The food arrived quickly and was excellent! Accessible to everyone, including a pet (dog). I highly recommend it, and reservations are not necessary.

We stopped by Bottega Roots and loved it. The antipasto and crostone really hit the spot. Staff was super friendly and helpful. They had gluten-free options which made everything easy. The drinks were also great. Just a solid, cozy spot with good energy. Would happily come back.

27/08/2025: Just a superb dinner in Tuscany. The best we had in Italy. Beautiful setting too (we sat on the outdoor patio). The food was incredible. Highly recommend the pomodoro, pici all'aglione, tagliata and tiramisu. All fantastic. Can’t recommend enough!
24/08/2025: We had a good Florentine steak, the atmosphere was pleasant... but the waiter was very rude, arrogant, and know-it-all. When we asked for a wine recommendation, he took everything for granted even though he knew less than us. But overall, the food was good, and the atmosphere was just as good.

15/08/2025: It's a spectacular restaurant, and the food was delicious! We went as a group, and they treated us wonderfully. They kindly showed us around the wine cellar. If I ever go back to Siena, I'll be delighted to return to Casato.
13/08/2025: A highly recommended restaurant. Tired of so many trattorias offering the classic pasta and pizza menu, we discovered it based on the good reviews, and it far exceeded our expectations. The quality of the food is excellent, and at these prices, it's hard to find. The dishes are prepared with spectacular care and attention to detail, with a presentation worthy of a top-class restaurant. The service is impeccable and professional. We definitely recommend it.
