Great service and good food. I've eaten here more than once and have always left satisfied. The menu is original and has a nod to tradition. If you're in Follonica, I highly recommend lunch at the Bottega.

Late night meal. Ate outside. The large stuffed ravioli was decent, but the meatballs were quite bland. Menu is limited. Servers were very friendly. Not sure if it was the later hour, but I got the impression this was more of a bar that served food than a restaurant that served alcohol. It wasn't bad, but it certainly does not deserve 4.8 stars which was the entire reason we stopped there.

A small gem in Follonica! The service was super friendly, and the food was delicious. Cold cuts, pasta, tiramisu, everything tastes great. Highly recommended!

I had two tortelli, one with butter and sage and one with cast iron ragù. The tortelli's pastry was very good, but I thought the filling was too blended, losing the ricotta flavor. The ragù was very good. The meatballs, a dish I love, lacked much character. The staff was kind and friendly, and the interior was beautiful.

Ghisa's Maremma tortelli were exceptional, the best I've ever had. The tacos were equally delicious, just the right amount of flavor with a perfect combination of ingredients—kudos to the chef. The staff was welcoming and kind, accommodating every need. The atmosphere is typical of an osteria, a small but charming place with a few tables inside and outside. We'll definitely be back in the future; I highly recommend it!

This has become our go-to place. The meatballs are amazing. Not to mention the parmigiana and the tagliatelle alla carbonara with mussels. Superlative!!!

I'd return to Follonica just to eat there. Unfortunately, I discovered this osteria on our last night, otherwise we would definitely have returned. Fresh, authentic local produce. Simple dishes, but crafted with a thoughtful approach and attention to detail that make them stand out. Excellent wines; ask for advice if you're unsure, because they know what they're talking about and offer honest, well-chosen pairings. We were there with a dog, who was very welcome and even pampered. I highly recommend!

The best dinner in Follonica... truly special tonnarello with squid and an original and truly delicious fried shrimp bun!!! All accompanied by excellent wine and attentive service, with a mouth-watering taste of pappa al pomodoro!!! Bravo, bravo, bravo!

30/09/2025: Very nice, family-run restaurant. Lots of locals. Very good quality. We had tomato mozzarella and bruschetta for starters, and grilled mango filet mignon and arugula and grana pasta for main courses. Excellent quality and cooked to perfection🤤 For dessert, we had homemade tiramisu! 100% The price, the ambiance, the hospitality, and the quality of the food were absolutely convincing. We'd go back anytime😊🇮🇹👌

La Grande Cina

17/10/2025: Struck by a sudden craving for dumplings, we opted for this restaurant. I'll start by saying that the decor is really dated (it felt like we were back in the late '80s). That said, the food is definitely worth trying (we're talking about the Chinese cuisine I remember from when I was a kid). The dishes were exactly as I remembered them as a kid. The service was fast and the prices were fair (and finally, no raw fish or all-you-can-eat options). The photos of the dishes we've already eaten are intentional because we truly enjoyed everything.
02/08/2025: I recommend it to everyone! The service is a bit timid, but they get the hang of it quickly, the food is fast and delicious!
