Bosco Ciancio In Biancavilla

It is a magical place. Very quiet and well maintained. The hotel is very well located for a trip to the south side of Mount Etna. The beds are good. And the dinner in the hotel is really fantastic. (A little more expensive but appropriate for the service and quality) There is a pool table and lots of great places to sit and relax. The pool was still open but of course no longer warm (stay in October). You can take a short walk in the adjacent chestnut forest. The hotel owner is very friendly and gives great tips. For us, the best stay in Sicily. Highly recommended.

Charming hotel if you want to disconnect from the city. An idyllic place to rest. Located at the foot of Etna. Very pleasant common areas, reading room, solarium and swimming pool. Full and varied breakfast and a very good option for lunch and dinner in the same accommodation. They informed us very well about trekking on Etna.

For those who want to unplug, Bosco Ciancio is an ideal place, it is located about 1000 meters on the slopes of Etna, a few minutes from Rifugio Sapienza and the adjacent cable car, it is an excellent point for excursions to the craters on the southern side. The structure is immersed in a forest and can be easily reached with roads that are generally in excellent condition. It has a swimming pool (which unfortunately we did not use due to the weather) and an exclusive restaurant for guests. I must compliment you because the three dinners we enjoyed were excellent and the price was consistent. Breakfast can be eaten both inside and in the garden and was quite rich from eggs to fruit, there was no shortage of homemade desserts and excellent croissants, freshly prepared coffee and cappuccino. The large and comfortable rooms, equipped with a fridge (why not put a courtesy bottle of water?) I appreciate the choice not to put the TV, (they have one in the common room where they also have an excellent pool table!) Bathroom with shower It's a shame there's no window, lots of towels (good!) and a shower set, including a hairdryer. The staff has always been welcoming and kind, a special mention for Alessandra (I hope I remember her name correctly..) who immediately made us feel at ease. When traveling with children I suggest an area with a couple of swings, maybe there is space.
