On Valentine's Day 2026 seven of us enjoyed an excellent meal here. I started with the fennel/green apple/olive salad which was crisp and refreshing, and a welcome change from the pastas and heavier foods I've been enjoying in Italy. My main course was roasted octopus served on pureed chickpeas with a spinach and arugula salad on the side. This too was a pleasantly light-bodied dish and the octopus was superbly cooked. The octopus had a delicate scallop-like flavor and a wonderful firm chew. Delightful. We did not have wine, nor desserts after the meal, but the meal itself was wonderful.

Despite being in the heart of one of the city's most touristy areas, it's not a tourist trap, but a contemporary osteria with good food and a pleasant atmosphere. The wait staff is very friendly.
