As tourists we had a nice meal at this restaurant, they have friendly service and also a young lady who fully committed herself to translating from Italian to English and vice versa. Great job by this young lady! We felt welcome and also received good service. After 1 night in Naples and 3 nights at Castellamare di Stabia and now here, this is the first restaurant to force something on us, in this case, 2 desserts that we didn't ask for! Rather than respond to this and let a possible discussion put a damper on our first evening here, we chose to eat the dessert that was forced upon us and kindly go along with this pushy choice by the restaurant. We didn't tip them like we do elsewhere, because the desserts that we didn't order ourselves were also charged extra. Friendly service, good food, but a possible trap for tourists. Nevertheless, a less good ending due to the pushiness, but in fairness we ate well and had good service. The desserts that we actually wouldn't order were also delicious. However, one loses due to this pushy choice: tip + the chance that we will visit again. As a tourist I don't want to argue, but enjoy the holiday, the food and the atmosphere. Summary: good food, good service, very friendly, but a possible pitfall for tourists.

Local close to the central square of the Cava de Tirreni promenade. Small internal room and external space on a pedestrian street bordered by flower boxes. Tables with little privacy. Friendly service but a little slow. Disappointing food, sandwiches well presented but with little taste. Average price

I would title this review: <<The eye also wants its part>> This place left me amazed for a whole series of reasons: - Despite the simplicity of what I ordered, the ingredients were so high quality that I can still taste them a day later. - I didn't expect great things from a simple caprese with cured meats, but the type of plating (imaginative but traditional) made my eyes fall in love with it along with my stomach. Also delighted by the wonderful view of the Cava square. - The chef is a wonderful person, we chatted a lot and he was super kind and friendly. You can immediately see when people have been enriched by many experiences and bring this experience to the table but also in their ways. In fact, I literally let him advise me without looking at the menu and I was very satisfied. - there was also some beautiful music to accompany!! - very honest prices I rarely give 5 stars to everything, not even to starred restaurants, but when something is exceptional it must be said! I will definitely come back

Just had a delicious meal at Borgo Magno. The host was extremely friendly and did everything to make us happy. Together with the chef, who spoke better English, we put together our menu. Delicious fresh pasta and a beautiful grilled T-bone steak, which we could grill at the table (if desired) on a stone grill. Everything equally tasty, I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The Borgomagno restaurant is a real gem. The staff is very kind and makes you feel at home straight away. The products are of real quality, fresh and delicious. Each dish is a discovery of authentic and genuine flavours. I highly recommend Borgomagno for an unforgettable culinary experience!

One of the best restaurant pubs in Cava, excellent raw materials, friendly and knowledgeable staff. In the center with a small balcony overlooking Piazza Duomo. Highly recommended

Beautiful location located in a very central position near numerous clubs and the main walking street. The dining room staff was very courteous and helpful, the only flaw. When taking the order they didn't ask for the meat to be cooked and in fact we had to send one of the burgers back. Very high quality of ingredients. The starters were excellent with nothing to complain about, the toppings of the sandwiches were a little cold. Overall very good. Another flaw concerns the moment of payment, we were not asked if everything had gone well.... For the type of place, expectations are quite high.
