Beautiful location, where time seems to stop, courteous staff, but strict on rules, very large spaces, outdoor activities and very large swimming pool, hotel beach just a few steps away.
Borgo Egnazia is like loving a Plastic Rose. The fact that this place lost in the Savelletri countryside where golf is played 500m away 🏌️🏌️⛳⛳ with sea view and chicory and turnips is grown 1km away is taken for granted by many. Locally sourced vegetables at 30 cents per case. Peace and relaxation for 1000 euros per night.
A village tailor-made for VIPs, beautiful but without a real history. The Plastic Rose. A large gray gate welcomes you like a golden prison. Anxiety already prevails here. From the entrance. Fake candles lamps and flowers everywhere. The white and beige of the tuff are the masters. Coming from the countryside and seeing this village rise is a heart-stopping ❤️ especially when you pay. Even more. Privacy, comfort and relaxation appear in this beautiful, expensive, enchanted but fake place. For the rest, if you are rich and have money to spend, try it.
This was our second visit to Borgo Egnazia in 17 months and both times were incredible! 🍷 We brought 16 of our wine club members from the US on our Southern Italy food, wine & culture trip. They were all blown away by the resort! 🤩The staff is extremely accommodating, professional and welcoming. The food was out of this world. 🌍 We have traveled the world and Borgo Egnazia by far has the best breakfast buffet. 🫒 🚲 We rode the complimentary bicycles through the olive groves and took fabulous pictures. White, lots of white through out the resort, it’s gorgeous! 🥰 Add this experience to your Southern Italy itinerary and you will be super impressed! Oh and…they create delicious cocktails! 🍸
