A truly authentic place, with local cuisine made with top-quality ingredients. The service was also very welcoming. I also had the mouflon with beans and potatoes (a delicious off-menu dish).

A true family experience in the heart of Monte Sant'Angelo We were passing through Monte Sant'Angelo on a rainy Sunday and, following advice found online, we decided to stop at Ristorante Borgo Antico. I NEVER would have imagined anything like this. Lunch (yes, with a capital "L") begins only when everyone has arrived, just like family, when you wait for everyone to be at the table. And that's exactly the feeling you get here: being with family. A vast, and—most importantly—delicious, menu accompanies the entire lunch. But it's not just the food that makes the difference. Throughout the service, there was live music with guitar and accordion circling from table to table, putting on a show. And then, the owner, Mr. Pasquale. Seeing and hearing him play the saxophone was a truly moving moment: it made the atmosphere unforgettable. The service is impeccable: the staff are always smiling, tirelessly moving up and down the stairs with admirable professionalism. A special thanks to Antonio, who served us with kindness and great attention. The quality/price ratio is incredible for what's on offer. A rich appetizer, four "tasting" first courses (which are actually more than generous!), a second course, a dessert, water, and wine. Homemade, authentic, and truly delicious food—the price can never do justice to the quantity and quality of this experience. I rarely write reviews, but this time I'm doing it from the heart, to say thank you to all the people who make Borgo Antico such a special place. If I ever return to this magnificent town, I already know where I'll want to return. ❤️
