We had an Angus steak and a grilled chicken which I highly recommend, excellent service, final discount, we will definitely be back, quality and price, not central but easily reachable

Strategic place near the Leopolda. Warm atmosphere and friendly, attentive service. Some dishes are of absolute quality. We returned a second time because of how good it was.

Very nice atmosphere, even though we dined outside, it was a bit hot inside and the fans weren't enough. The service was excellent, but I was a bit disappointed with the food. The starter platter was very limited for €28, and the quality was average. I then tried the €24 tagliata, but the meat was too sinewy and difficult to cut. I didn't like it, which was a shame. The tiramisu was good but nothing special. The price was too high for the quality of the food. I expected better.

We had dinner with the whole family during a visit to Florence for our wedding anniversary. Friendly service and good food. The appetizers and pasta with clams were delicious, as well as the classic Florentine steak. Thank you.

Al Vecchio Carlino

12/10/2025: I visited Vecchio Carlino during a weekend in Florence and fell in love with it. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, with a touch of Tuscan tradition that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to recommend the perfect dish or a good local wine. The food is simply fantastic: I tried the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection, and the pici with ragù—truly unforgettable! The desserts also deserve a special mention, especially the house tiramisu. Excellent value and a true Tuscan culinary experience.
19/09/2025: Excellent service, super friendly waiters (one of whom spoke Spanish very well), and short wait times between ordering and being served. I went with my partner without a reservation on a Friday night, and even though it was busy, they still had tables available. The food was very good; the risotto was delicious, as was the truffle carbonara. Since we were hungry (but not too hungry), we ordered a margherita pizza for both of us, which was immediately brought to our table, also very good 👌🏻 The restaurant is just a few minutes' walk from the train station (about 15 minutes). I would go again 😉
