We were there during the off-season. Advantage: Much quieter, no crowded loungers, plenty of space on the beach, no lines at the market. Disadvantage: The train to the beach only ran hourly at first. Not so great with a small child and all the beach gear. The entertainment team also put more effort into the long weekend than on other days. We often went to the Kids' Club, only to find out they were somewhere else today. It's especially tiring on a large site with a small child. Perhaps things are better organized during the high season. There are also more fun activities than "just" coloring pages and Jenga. One entrance and exit isn't exactly optimal for the large number of cars—especially for check-in/check-out. This often leads to traffic jams. Note: The quiet time also means that people who have already checked in aren't allowed to leave. Important for shopping trips. We found the site itself very nice. The pools weren't too crowded for our time. There's a market for basic shopping, and there's also a Lidl nearby. Thanks to the many trees, the climate is also pleasant. It was a very nice two weeks.

Unfortunately, some mobile homes (we've stayed in two different ones) are quite old and not well maintained. If you're just there to sleep and don't care if they're cleaned or how they were cleaned (or even if they weren't cleaned at all), then it's perfectly fine.

We stayed 4 days for the June 2nd long weekend, with our dog, in a pitch L with water and electricity. Very nice, spacious and shaded. Nice bathrooms and showers, quite well kept. An excellent laundry room, even an ironing board, a freezer for ice lollies, a dishwasher. In short, everything well set up. The swimming pools are beautiful with their bars/restaurants next door. Very nice and helpful entertainers in case of questions. Electric train that takes you to their beach for free A small dog walking area and a shower. In short, everything quite positive. On the other hand, we had to take turns to go to the pool, too bad there is no sunbed area, even if it is obviously far from the water where you can put your dog under the umbrella, because in a tent alone obviously not. And another negative note, the beach is only a paid area if you go with your dog, then obviously the ordinance prohibits dogs in the water, but at least on the free beach of the bay. The welcome gift for the dog was appreciated Anyway, I recommend it!!

As soon as we got back, we spent a nice weekend, with our 4-legged friend, dedicated services, clean camper pitch, and well-kept common areas. The shuttle to the beach was very convenient. 👍👍👍👍
