A short walk from our hotel, we tried Bonario our first morning in Rome. We immediately fell in love with the two women running it and their friendly, welcoming demeanor. We don’t speak Italian and their English was minimal, but we managed together (and a little Google Translate help too). The food was fantastic and fresh and we ended up coming back every morning during our stay in Rome. They were a delight and the food was wonderful.

Peaceful restaurant to get out of the sun. The food is fresh, simple and incredibly delicious. Classic Mediterranean dishes. Great place to hang out and the service makes you feel like familia.

28/03/2025: Unlike those dumps in the center where they try to force you to eat, this is a true Roman restaurant, located near the Mausoleum of Augustus, the Ara Pacis, and Via del Corso. It's not too out of the way and is currently suffering from construction work. After two and a half years, we were delighted to return. The Bombolotti all'Amtriciana are always sublime, perhaps a little undercooked. The Saltimbocca are incredibly tasty (one portion for two), with two waters for €0.70 each, and two coffees. A total of €62 for two people. Located in the center of Rome, it's a great price, especially considering the quality of the food. The waiters are friendly, and you can really feel the Roman atmosphere.

12/08/2025: Giuseppe the waiter is a legend, the man runs the place like a pro
29/07/2025: We had such a nice time at Cin Cin! The waiter that served us speaks fluently french, english and obviously italian, and is very attentive, he made us feel very welcome. The bar has a really long history, hanged on a wall there is a picture of the Allied victory parade in Rome with the Cin Cin in background. We loved especially their traditional sweets, they are a must try. Also, the terrace has an amazing view of the Vittoriano monument.
