Bon Bocon In Giaveno

If you are planning a trip out of Turin, I suggest the "Bon bocon" restaurant in Giaveno. The route, passing through Avigliana, offers a pleasant view of its lakes. Ah, I forgot to point out that "Bon bocon" is read "Bun bucon" and means "good morsel". I must say that we ate very well. The appetizers were excellent, in particular the fassone steak with artichokes and the fried artichokes, really crunchy. The Tarantina mussels, however, disappointed us a bit: although large, the muscle was very small, even if the flavor was good. Next we tasted the sea bass, prepared in two ways: one with artichokes and the other with grilled vegetables. The pasta, although a little al dente, had an excellent sauce. Despite some small inconveniences caused by crowding, the dining room staff was very kind."

Good food and professional staff, now a rarity in catering.

there were three of us, we had a truly excellent tartare with artichokes, a tartare with parmesan and walnuts, Taranto-style mussels which were absolutely fantastic to try!!!! very good mixed fried scialatelli in crust must try!! Observe from the photos impeccably clean shrimp, sweet coffee, wine, coca excellent value for money

An excellent Easter Monday lunch....food service worthy of applause....with a rating of excellence...

On every occasion it is always the reference restaurant, excellent food and excellent pizza, efficient and friendly service

I went to this place for lunch and found a wide choice of both traditional and alternative dishes. The service was also excellent even though there were a lot of people.

A very nice place to eat a hearty and delicious paella; the starters are good and the presentation tempting. I highly recommend dropping by!

We went to eat paella but unfortunately we discovered that on Saturdays only reservations were made. We looked at other dishes and were thrilled with both the goodness and the portions. Very attentive and kind staff. Very good prices Definitely worth returning

Che dire? Con tutta certezza, il miglior pranzo di Natale mai mangiato. I piatti sono tutti curati e preparati con ingredienti freschi e di qualità. La maestria degli chef si fa davvero sentire. Menzione particolare alla pasta ai frutti di mare: incredibile! Prima volta in questo posto, su consiglio di amici, ci torneremo sicuramente per provare la pizza e altre prelibatezze. Un ringraziamento anche ai camerieri, cordiali e sempre efficienti, anche verso il nostro amico a quattro zampe! Complimenti di cuore!
