We spent €25 for three big pasta dishes (which were tasty), a 1L bottle of water and a coffee. The waitress was friendly and we didn't have to wait long for the food. It looks closed when you're in front, but just pull the door open.

Cozy place, helpful and friendly staff and excellent food. Plus unbeatable value for money. In the Bognanno restaurant you can really feel the atmosphere of home and it has now become my point of reference when I pass through these parts for work... congratulations Sonia and Calogero 👏

Ho avuto il piacere di venire a mangiare da Bognanno e ne sono rimasto davvero colpito! Sin dal momento in cui sono entrato, l’atmosfera calda e accogliente mi ha fatto sentire a casa. Il locale è arredato con cura, mescolando uno stile moderno a tocchi di eleganza rustica, creando un ambiente perfetto per ogni occasione. Il menù è sorprendente: un connubio di tradizione e creatività che rende ogni piatto un piccolo capolavoro. Il personale è stato estremamente cortese e professionale, sempre attento senza mai risultare invadente. I prezzi sono assolutamente giustificati dalla qualità dell’esperienza offerta. CONSIGLIATO!

My brother and I visited today (Nov 11). We were on an ancestral visit to Villarosa. The restaurant was recommended to us by some locals. I had the spaghetti Arribiata and he had spaghetti carbonara. It was THE BEST pasta we’ve ever had! Highly recommended! We wanted to get pizza, but they only served pizza during dinner hours.

Fabulous lunch and cane at an economical price

Some of the best food we had in the whole of Sicily. Unbelievably cheap for the quality of food you get here. Very friendly and welcoming family who run the restaurant, They even put a table and chairs outside for us because we're English and we only see the sun for 12 days of the year at home! Couldn't recommend highly enough. If you're driving through Sicily then it's the perfect place for a stop off for food. We still talk and drool about how good the food was there!

On our trip, we made a stop to get some gas and looked for a place to eat nearby and we came across this restaurant. It was a very pleasant experience- we ordered carbonara and frutti di mare pasta. They were really delicious and also the portions were big. It felt authentic and also the staffs were very friendly. Would recommend!
