Great atmosphere, sitting on the terrace facing a very pleasant and quiet square, the kindness and friendliness of the waiters is not to be forgotten either. And the food! Very, very good value for money, it's simply delicious!!! In short! A 5-star from start to finish! I highly recommend it!!! Thank you very much!

Nice setting, but the service was odd. Our plate was taken away while we were still eating the bread — which left us wondering, if they don’t want us to eat bread with the starter, why serve it in the first place? The waiter came across as quite arrogant and gave the impression he didn’t like tourists, which made the experience uncomfortable. Maybe it was a language barrier cause he couldn’t speak that much english but that can’t be an excuse. Food quality was really good. Especially the malfatti were particularly memorable but couldn’t lift the overall experience we had. On top of that, the place was swarming with mosquitos and there were no candles or repellent offered — unlike other places we visited, which handled it much better.

The food was good, and the service was courteous, attentive but not intrusive. When we asked for a taste of the local salami, they offered a small plate. Much appreciated.

Superb food, superb service and advice, superb atmosphere. Locally procured, and freshly prepared, a small but varied menu and at a stunning price. This restaurant is a hidden gem in a traditional old town in a beautiful old square.

Cucina del Territorio tra le Valli Grue e Borbera.Dall'antipasto al dolce ,una sinfonia di gusti decisi ma allo stesso tempo delicati . Porzioni giuste per arrivare al Dessert senza troppa difficoltà. Location curata, colori alle pareti decisi ma non troppo . Staff attento al dettaglio. Ottima qualità prezzo. Prodotti freschi preparati sul momento. Ecellente

Parto dalla fine, ...... Che delusione🤪, volevo acquistare in bottega gli gnocchi e la focaccia, ma non fanno più bottega. ....... Pazienza. Il resto è cordialità, sapori autentici e soddisfazione totale. Dovete solo provarli e non resterete delusi, Ve lo assicuro.

25/08/2025: Yesterday we had dinner in a splendid location, excellent dishes and top-quality ingredients. Exclusive and very professional service. At the end of the dinner, a very pleasant tour of the winery was provided, with a great explanation from Riccardo, a member of the family who owns it. The staff and owners were fantastic. And we say this as fellow restaurateurs.
16/08/2025: I've been for dinner several times, and every time everything was top-notch, but this evening they exceeded all expectations. The fresh mushroom risotto was unbeatable in taste, cooking, and presentation. The fried fresh mushrooms were sublime; it was impossible to find even a single flaw. The mushrooms were excellent, the breading just right, not even the slightest trace of grease on the plate. You might say everything was normal, but that's not always the case. Besides a delicious dinner, there was so much more: a beautiful and well-kept setting surrounded by lush greenery and an oasis of peace, soft, very pleasant and relaxing background music, and extremely kind and helpful staff. You couldn't imagine anything better, so a heartfelt thank you to all the staff. Marcella.

09/06/2025: Castello di Gabiano 🏰 enchanting well cared for, we celebrated the birthday with a quality menu. The room manager Mrs. Nadia served us with attention, friendliness and great professionalism: attentive to every little need with kindness. The generous portions accompanied by the good wine produced by the Castle have fully satisfied all the guests. Thank you so much, we will gladly return also for a weekend with a swim in the pool.
