Welcoming and genuine! Let's start with the welcome, with a big smile and open arms despite the fact that it was sold out. It was very early, and we were greeted with our two children, reassured that "she"—the owner, a whirlwind of wisdom and gentle firmness—would take care of it. Many typical dishes, with authentic, locally sourced flavors, refined and traditional tastes. All topped with pleasant, respectful chatter and smiles. The kids loved the potato frittata, the cutlet, and the breaded zucchini! We loved everything else, from caponata to sardines a beccafico, eggplants cooked in every way, and delicious couscous! Not to mention the traditional salad, which took me back in time and reminded me of my grandfather's: onions, cucumbers, tomatoes, and marjoram (I think... but every town has its own!) At a certain point, we said enough... but we could have continued! We concluded this fantastic journey of flavors with a PHENOMENAL homemade hazelnut gelato! The atmosphere is homey and very welcoming, full of details, each one seeming to tell a story. Highly recommended! Don't pass through Roccalumera and the surrounding area without stopping here!

This little place is a treasure trove of deliciousness. We stumbled upon it by chance, but we highly recommend it as an unmissable opportunity to sample authentic delicacies. The owner is incredibly kind and genuinely hospitable. A word of advice: eat only a little at the previous meal, because you'll certainly have to give up something and you'll regret it.

If you happen to find yourself on this part of the coast go in and you won’t be disappointed, It’s a credit to Sicilian hospitality, and food. Perfect portion sizes, wonderful collection of starters and a brilliant pasta, great atmosphere, and the service is fantastic.

A family-run trattoria expertly run by Mrs. Teresa. A fixed menu featuring local products. I'll mention some of my favorites: peppers and potatoes, eggplant parmigiana, zucchini meatballs, grilled ricotta, and I could go on. An informal atmosphere where Teresa is a convivial and empathetic host, sharing her local history. Special mentions go to Paolo, who prepares an excellent mandarin sorbet, and Francesca, who helps out with the family during the holidays. We wish them all the best for their studies. Last night we had dinner at this osteria. Everyone was very friendly, the atmosphere was simple and very familiar. Not the best place if you're looking for elegance and intimacy. Here, you eat whatever you can get your hands on, with the main courses constantly arriving: caponata, capinatina, omelettes, ricotta, cured meats and cheeses, onions, zucchini, and everything from the garden. The food was fresh and well-cooked, the dishes were tasty, all very simple and authentic. The service was simple and homely, and the family who runs it was very friendly. A truly wonderful experience. It's not a place for those who want to be selective or try to be chic. Very good, Teresa, keep up your good work and vision.
