Choice: 2 first courses, 2 second courses, 2 desserts. In the photo vegetable caponata with a green sauce base. Tuscan sausage with vegetables and potato, cabbage and cheese tart. I took excellent asparagus risotto, 2 waters for 75. 2 coffees, 1 dessert ONLY SPENT €32 including bread and service. Very kind and super fast service. It was Thursday 5/6

A nice surprise. First time at this family-run restaurant. Small but very welcoming environment. Friendly staff. We participated in a beautiful evening: dinner and jazz music. The owner surprised us with his skills as a musician as well as a chef.

Pranzo di lavoro in questa che credo essere a occhio forse l’unica trattoria del centro di Albiolo. Menu fisso a 13,5 (buon prezzo) ma che più fisso di così non si può: 1 primo e 1 secondo con contorno prendere o lasciare. Siam comunque cascati bene perché gli strozzapreti al ragù si lasciavano mangiare e i bocconcini brasati con le patate erano buoni. Asternersi gusti difficili/intolleranti alla qualsiasi/vegetariani/amanti della scelta.

Lunch during the week for three people!! Good good good....the menu was fresh pasta with sauce and delicious courgettes, ribs with potatoes, a quarter of wine, water, dessert, coffee, 20 euros each!! All good and homemade. Very nice manager. In the evening the manager rings. Anyway highly recommended 😊

Dopo diverse volte dove abbiamo sempre trovato un ambiente davvero accogliente e abbiamo goduto della simpatia di Andreino e co, abbiamo deciso in 3 coppie di trascorrere il veglione di San Silvestro ... beh scelta azzeccatissima, ottimo cibo con varianti a che ha intolleranze, serata volata via senza intoppi e come atteso la musica offerta é stata la cilegina sulla torta!! Grazie e a prestissimo

Top. Small, intimate environment. Nothing pretentious, but always delicious food with top flavors and at the level of haute cuisine... the jewel in the crown is chef Andrea who plays and sings at the end of the evening... and the question arises whether he is better at cooking or sing...must try!!! See you soon.

23/05/2025: Truly the best restaurant in Como. Such a lovely experience from start to finish. First the Beautiful art on the walls. Service was exceptional. The food was exquisite. Best pasta we have had and the most wonderful fish. Don't waste time at Gato nerro, eat here for real food and experience, you will not be disappointed!! If this were not our last night in lake como, we would come back to eat tomorrow 😋
12/04/2025: The atmosphere was great… old house with a bit modern feel… The restaurant decor and design is beautiful. Very impressive. But stiff. The food was well cooked but a bit boring… and a bit overpriced (€40) for what we received… we ordered two different types of fish, they came with just fish filets, some chunks of potatoes, some olives with stones inside… The food was colorless. Tasted great. But you eat with your eyes first. Very little garnish and no color coordination on the plate. One really bad notice. The olives used on both courses had stones in them. That’s a big NO NO. The appetizer we ordered (Red Prawns) was fine but a bit overpriced as well (€40) for only a few prawns with asparagus…. There was a copero charge of €10 per person, most restaurants we have been to in Milan were about €3-5…. But that’s not the deal breaker because they offered us free bread and sparkling wine to start.. We planned to order and share two appetizers but we ended up ordering just one for the birthday boy.. Because they want to charge a minimum of 20% for any shared dishes.. we don’t even know what it means for“a minimum”… Would they charge 50% or 100% depending on what? We don’t know and we don’t want to know… We’ve traveled to different parts of the world and this was the first time we saw that… We always like to order 2-3 appetizers to share and taste different local cuisines… And at the end, we would also like to share a dessert…NOT EVERYBODY LIKES TO FINSIH ONE BIG DESSERT BY THEMSELVES… sweets are fat….sharing a dessert is enjoyable and very common.. Some pros of the restaurant cannot be denied: the staff were very friendly and polite… they greeted us, took our coats and saw us off at the end…

Mimmo' s Restaurant

29/05/2025: Nice view! Food was a bit disappointing, a bit boring pizza. Service did not speak English. Menu is only available in Italian but with Google Translate you can get a long way. Service is friendly to the children. I would not necessarily recommend it, only for a quick bite.
23/05/2025: Sea food of excellent quality, fair price, very obliging and friendly Service, great Pizza, absolute recommendation
