Today I went to eat a delicious Genovese, having heard a lot of good things about it. My expectations were confirmed; I found a wide selection of meats and excellent service.

Excellence in every detail From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the attentive and professional staff. The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. The real triumph, however, was the food. Each dish was a work of art, an explosion of flavors and aromas that demonstrated great attention to the quality of the ingredients and exceptional mastery in the preparation. We started with the appetizer recommended by the owner and continued with the Genovese. To complete the experience and fully trust the place, we were guided in choosing the meat, which perfectly reflected our tastes. The chef's mastery was impeccably evident in every course, leaving us speechless. The service was simply perfect: the waiters were discreet but always present at the right time, providing excellent advice on both the dishes and the wine selection. For over fifteen years, Bocca di Bacco has been my go-to: the only place capable of satisfying my and my wife's demanding palates. The restaurant is located in a quiet area with an adjoining private garden, ideal for summer evenings. Inside, the atmosphere is welcoming: a minimalist design, impeccable cleanliness, and well-spaced tables. The table setting is simple yet refined, with sparkling tableware; background music and the acoustics allow for a pleasant conversation. Restrooms are always clean and well-organized. The food is excellent: a short and thoughtful menu (following the "few but good" rule) where the raw ingredients take center stage. Traditional dishes—Neapolitan first and foremost—are reinterpreted with an innovative twist that delights the eye even before the palate. Special mention for the first courses: Chef Stefano demonstrates impeccable technique, masterfully managing starches and flavors. The meat, aged in an open-view cellar, is the restaurant's flagship, the ideal place for the most refined lovers of "meat," where the grill becomes the tool to enhance noble cuts and expert aging. A special mention goes to Onofrio, the gracious host, assisted by the kind Clelia. His attention to guests reaches its peak in the narration of the dishes: he passionately reveals their soul and origins, making the diner the true protagonist of the experience. The wine selection is the result of careful research. The bill is consistent with the level of the experience offered.

I returned to this place after being there about four months ago, and once again, the experience was simply impeccable. It's rare to find a place capable of maintaining such high standards over time: the food is delicious and prepared with top-quality ingredients, the atmosphere is always welcoming and meticulously crafted, and the staff is consistently extremely kind and professional. I've had a wonderful time in the past, and I continue to have a wonderful time every time I return. It's now a guaranteed success, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a perfect evening in every way! ❤️
