I highly recommend this hotel 😁 A solid 3-star hotel in the municipality of Viserbella di Rimini, on two floors but without an elevator, with an outdoor pool and hot tub and direct access to the beach. My room was well-appointed, with a minibar and a balcony overlooking the sea, although a bit narrow between the bed and minibar, and the shower was small. The room was reasonably clean (except for a few hairs in the shower upon arrival and a few ants, but that was manageable compared to the rest of the experience!).
The cuisine was simply fantastic, with excellent ingredients expertly prepared and far too generous (I would consider reducing the first courses, which often get returned, even though they're delicious... it's a shame!). The dining room staff listens to your needs and even makes adjustments to the menu.
Special mention goes to the kindness and hospitality of the staff, especially Diana and Antonio, who know how to take care of guests and anticipate their needs to make the experience super easy, always smiling and kind to put you in a good mood.
The pool is sometimes too noisy when families with children are present, and there's no parental or staff intervention, which prevents those who want to relax or read. Free bike rental is available, very nice!
It's difficult to always have enough cash for drinks at the bar; I recommend getting a POS terminal, otherwise I would have spent much more! :)

Excellent family-run hotel, located just 50 meters from the Boario thermal baths. The room we stayed in was very spacious and, above all, spotlessly clean. Breakfast offered a wide selection of sweet and savory items.
We dined at the hotel on a very extensive menu, featuring a wide range of first and second courses and a generous buffet of vegetables and savory baked goods. The service was excellent, with particular attention to customer needs.

I recommend it to those who don't have dogs because the owners aren't dog lovers. However, if you have a dog that never barks, then fine. Mine barked a few times near the door and balcony out of fear, and I didn't like the owner's reaction because, honestly, there were all kinds of noises and disturbances that were much worse than a simple bark, like the very loud TV in the next room and the children crying during dinner. I think a little more understanding wouldn't hurt. The half-board option was excellent. We ate well, and compliments to all the restaurant staff for their kindness. The pool was very small and always full, but pleasant. It's also a shame about the mosquitoes and the heat, which I hoped I wouldn't have to endure.
The nearby spa is nice, but it needs updating because it's not fully functional and is too crowded. Relaxation is lost even just looking for a free lounger. This is probably normal in August, but I expected a better holiday. The price is still affordable compared to other hotels.

We stayed one night at this family-run hotel. Pros: the proximity to the spa, the free parking, the kindness of the owners (especially mother and son), the quiet rooms at the back, the spacious common areas, the gym, the pool (though small and a bit crowded), the breakfast offerings, with a generous buffet featuring mostly sweet items, the modern bathroom, the comfortable orthopedic bed, and the air conditioning.
Some suggestions: remove the carpeting from the rooms, as it's unhygienic and dated. Put dispensers in the bathroom instead of small, un-environmentally friendly plastic bottles and soaps. Provide a kettle for tea and herbal teas in the rooms (elderly guests love herbal tea in the evening). Provide guests with the air conditioning control, without having to ask at reception. Relax the breakfast room closing times: we saw the staff member deny access to the room to an elderly guest at 9:55 a.m., with the reasoning, "It's 10 a.m., the room is closed because we have to prepare lunch. I'll have a cup and a sandwich brought to you from the bar." Shortly before, at 9:45 a.m., another elderly guest was told, "Hurry up, it's late..."
Finally, if possible, set up an electronic key access system, which is more convenient for everyone.

Dorfo Boario is a charming town with so much to offer tourists. The Hotel Diana's facilities, its presentation, cleanliness, and tidiness, its additional services, and the quality of their restaurant—all thanks to the staff—allowed us to spend a couple of incredible days.
I highly recommend this hotel.

A very nice, clean, and welcoming hotel in a great location. The staff is extremely kind and helpful, the rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean (I usually don't like carpeting, but here I made an exception), and the breakfast buffet is varied and delicious. The pool is also a nice plus. Excellent value for money.
