Blue Bay In La maddalena

After 7 nights trying the local town’s restaurants and bars we decided to try this local traditional restaurant close to our hotel. I’m so glad we did and we spent our final two evenings there because we loved it so much. We are lucky where we live as we are surrounded by high end restaurants and a few Michelin star ones,on special occasions we have tried them and loved them but without a shadow of doubt, this place have equally if not better food. We are already looking at when we can return. Staff, chefs etc etc are all so friendly. Ignore the one star review from a fellow Brit who obviously past the McDonalds in olbia and never looked back. If your anywhere in Sardinia make a detour here!

Very beautiful restaurant with a 360-degree sea view. The dishes are delicious and fresh. The welcome is provided by the owner who advises you on starters and main courses according to your wishes. Recommended if you come to Maddalena

Extraordinary view!! Medium-high atmosphere!! The food for what we ordered was really good!! Starting from the octopus, the mussels, the tagliolini!! Service nothing to say, very friendly and super fast!!

I was at Bluebay in La Maddalena, a fabulous location right on the seafront. The dishes are a dream, the fish is incredibly fresh. Each course is truly spectacular, with meticulous attention to detail. Chefs Valter, Matteo, and Marta are incredibly friendly, and each of them creates masterpieces, a true delight for the palate. I recommend trying, among their many specialties, the cuttlefish tagliatelle with wasabi sauce, shrimp ravioli, and stracciatella with a refined sauce, and finally a lime mousse. Recommended, and I'll be back.

Enchanting location directly on the sea, breathtaking view, high level cuisine and courteous and welcoming staff. Next time we will definitely be back!

An experience on the beach. Ate a tuna that just melted in your mouth.
