Blanco Cantina&Osteria In Palermo

A very good lively atmosphere for a meal. They had good vegetarian options and the staff were very friendly. The table side guacamole even though it sounded impressive it wasn’t really that impressive. The tableside guacamole didn’t really have any seasoning like salt and lemon. Happy hour starts at 9 o’clock. The happy hour drinks aren’t satisfactory and watered down. When we were waiting for the check, our waiter kept us waiting for way too long. And also, they didn’t give us knives and forks until we ask for it.

For me to give 5 stars is impressive but Patrick our server was top notch. I have a corn allergy and he made sure I could still be accommodated. (Yes I know what kind of an idiot goes to a Mexican restaurant with a corn allergy? Well I love Mexican okay!) he was able to accommodate the table side guac with cucumber slices and gave me a ton of other options without judgement of me being too needy and risking coming into a establishment who loves putting corn in things lol. Tytyty Patrick and blanco got accommodating us needy people too! I appreciate it so much!

Was visiting Calgary and looking for happy hour. Food and drinks are great.

This place has a much nicer atmosphere than the Blanco in Kensington. Pretty spacious and decent food

What a fantastic place, the food proportions are great. I ordered the nachos and they were divine. There was a delay on one of our food items because they had some staff training in the kitchen and due to the delay theybrought us out a table guacamole on the house. This is the best Mexican food I have had in this city by far. The food is worth your buck. Prices are way cheaper than expected for such a nice place.

Awesome looking place, food was delicious and our server was Michelle, very polite and made sure we had everything we needed the entire evening! Awesome service!

This restaurant chain has several points in its favor, especially the guacamole they make fresh at the table. But in the end the flavor gets stuck in the Tex Mex world.
