The Neapolitan pizza was excellent, light and well-topped. I wasn't so keen on the fried friarelli with sausage and mozzarella; it was a bit bland. Fast and courteous service.

There's no point in writing the usual reviews. I can only say one thing... Black Wood is an experience you must try!!!! And as of this evening, it's become my favorite pizzeria.

Neapolitan pizza made with quality ingredients. The dough is excellent and highly digestible. The sourdough starter is lovingly prepared by the pizza chef. Definitely worth trying again.

As people from Caserta... We have to say we really appreciated the dough and the way the pizza was leavened; it was truly tasty and light. Very thoughtful combinations of colors and flavors. Affordable prices.

Excellent pizza. Soft and well-cooked. The ingredients are plentiful. There's a wide selection of white, red, and specialty pizzas. The homemade desserts are also recommended. Reservations are recommended (midweek, it was fully booked).

04/08/2026: It was a delightful dinner! We arrived late, but were still greeted so kindly by Paolo, the owner. While we waited for our dishes to arrive, he even offered us some delicious bruschetta! The dishes were delicious, and the atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, thanks in part to the lovely background music. We truly enjoyed this dinner, and at the end, Paolo told us the story of his restaurant over two complimentary liqueurs. If we're in the area again, we'll definitely stop by. Thank you!

09/07/2026: A beautiful place to have breakfast in the morning, with a delicious cappuccino and croissant overlooking the Majella. Taste and contemplation.
11/05/2026: Bar/pizzeria located in the town's main square with a beautiful view of the mountains. Very friendly staff and the option to watch matches. A great spot for aperitifs or football evenings.
