We discovered this place by chance: we had a great breakfast, with oat cappuccino, a "kranzino" and a "pain au chocolat"—truly delicious! A pleasant and welcoming place.

I think this place best represents a certain type of Milanese obsessively devoted to "apericena." It's cozy but noisy, comfortable but crowded. It has ample seating and—inside—a large, self-serve buffet to accompany your aperitivo. The "mangiarini" are good, plentiful, and high-quality. Basically, don't expect those drab aperitivos with sour chips, olives, and peanuts—much more, with a wide selection. The order takers are good, courteous, and always smiling, although some are oblivious to your needs and the signals from the tables. The patrons are almost always young and very sharp, with very high heels for the women and a dress code typical of downtown offices or pre-party fare. It's a place with a strong city aperitivo identity, where you shouldn't expect anything else. But it's definitely good in its genre.

I liked it. The place is well-decorated. Extremely friendly staff. The buffet food selection and quality were good. The only downside was the music, which was a bit too loud and didn't allow for conversation. Quiet.
