Bistrot Tower In Bologna

The hotel is well placed for visiting Bologna. Highway nearby. The carpets deserve renovation. Elevators a little slow. Competent and smiling staff.

Ideal location if you arrive by car.

Good staff, good breakfast, good room, but the hotel lacks a little maintenance. Old elevators, very old carpet in the rooms.

The rooms need renovation, there are stains both on the carpet and on the wall but I think they are organizing to do the necessary work. Otherwise clean room equipped with many comforts, very comfortable king size bed. Super abundant breakfast.

I stayed at this hotel for two days last weekend to take part in a tournament and everything went smoothly until Saturday night when, returning at midnight after a busy day, we were unable to enter the room due to the magnetic key no longer working. We immediately reported the problem to the receptionist who made several attempts to resolve the problem but we were unable to access the room until an hour later (almost 1.15am). In the morning we woke up early at 7 to go to breakfast and return to Bologna Fiere for the event. We encountered the same problem when leaving the room, the keys did not work once again, luckily we tested only one person leaving the door and doing stay another inside. Not having another hour to waste in the morning for short periods of time we were forced to go to breakfast without closing the door but only opening it ajar. Having reported these problems to the reception at the time of check out, they only apologized verbally when at least a refund on the room would have been a nice gesture as it was quite an inconvenience.

Rooms not exactly at the top for a 4 star. Excellent food. As regards the location, even though we are on a high floor, some noise can be heard.

It is a hotel with a lot of expectations, the price for the area is a little high, well located, there is a supermarket very close, not many restaurants, to eat you have to search, to get to the historic center and all the tourist and interesting areas by car or taxi, to get to the old area by car is a pain because there is no parking in this area. The hotel itself has free parking right in front, the rooms need a few touches of paint and replacement of the carpet or Cleanliness, bed quite good, the windows did not close well and made noise due to the wind, it is a 3.5* towards 3*. Well, don't forget the breakfast, which is quite good.
