26/04/2025: We tasted the new Poppella dessert, “the black pearl” that’s its name, what can I say, amazing! Very delicate internal cream that marries perfectly with the caramel mou inside and with the thin biscuit that is the base of the dessert!

26/04/2025: There is a GOOD reason (more than one actually) if the queue at this fantastic pastry shop is practically constant every day, you will discover them by trying the specialties of unique quality, always fresh and varied. As a true Milanese who loves small pastries, I was pleasantly surprised to find such light and digestible pastries despite their size! You absolutely have to try the fiocco di neve (soft pastry filled with plenty of fresh cream, also available in the pistachio version), the very fragrant and soft pastiera, the sfogliatelle with ricotta, cream or chocolate, the mini babà (fantastic and balanced without hints of alcohol), the frolle with wild strawberries, the enormous ventgli di svoglia and much more to taste. It is worth all the time of the wait, it is located in a side street of via Toledo, only take-away without tables.
