Bistrot San Pietro - Cocktail bar con Cucina In Sezze

Bistrot located in an ancient building, close to a charming little square in the historic center of Sezze. Due to its position, it is also well suited for spending summer evenings outdoors. The restaurant has a modern style but has preserved the pleasant structural elements of the original building, such as the arches and the wooden attic. The atmosphere is very quiet, ideal for spending a relaxed evening as a couple or with friends. Classic but very tasty menu, with a wide choice of starters, fried foods, fresh pasta, pucce... up to the pinse, all well made, with local products, simple but fresh and quality. Even the fried potatoes are not the usual packaged and frozen ones, but are prepared from scratch and you can taste the difference. The cutting boards are very rich and not banal, the pucce are generously stuffed. I had the opportunity to try the pinsa, made with a blend of three flours and long leavening, and it was one of the best I've ever tried, crunchy and well seasoned. Excellent service, with Antonio, the owner, always kind and helpful.

Bistrot situato in un antico palazzetto, a ridosso di una suggestiva piazzetta in pieno centro storico di Sezze. Per la sua posizione, si presta bene anche per trascorrere le serate estive all’aperto. Il locale presenta uno stile moderno ma ha preservato i gradevoli elementi strutturali dell’edificio originario, come gli archi e il solaio ligneo. L’atmosfera è molto tranquilla, ideale per passare una serata rilassata in coppia o con gli amici. Menù di tipo classico ma molto sfizioso, con ampia scelta di antipasti, fritti, pasta fresca, pucce…fino alle pinse, tutto ben realizzato,con prodotti della zona, semplici ma freschi e di qualità. Anche le patate fritte non sono le solite confezionate e surgelate, ma sono preparate da zero e la differenza si assapora. I taglieri sono molto ricchi e non banali, le pucce sono farcite generosamente. Ho avuto modo di provare la pinsa, realizzata con un blend di tre farine e lunga lievitazione, ed è stata una delle migliori mai provate, croccante e ben condita. Servizio ottimo, con Antonio, il proprietario, sempre gentile e disponibile.
