Discovered by chance, it was truly top notch to have dinner at the Bistrot del Duca. We were there our last two evenings in Città della Pieve. Friendliness and excellent cuisine with a highly structured wine pairing recommended by Cristian, owner of this romantic and welcoming "inn". Few tables for an uncommon intimacy and a menu always updated to the availability of selected local products. I could go on forever praising every detail but I leave it to those who read me to be curious to come and try it for themselves. It's a shame not to be able to return, tomorrow we return home to Sicily.

great small cozy restaurant, only 20 people or so max. The food and service was great!
Would go back there any time I am in Citta Della Pieve.

We travel on a tight budget and are picky about our restaurant visits. This place was well worth the visit, great service and truly delicious food. Wish we could’ve eaten more!

Atmosfera intima e familiare, accoglienza calorosa ma discreta; piatti ben presentati, sapori della terra esaltati in maniera naturale e armonica. Mani di chi sa lavorare l’ingrediente semplice rendendolo speciale. Eccellente il risotto. Consigliato!

This place is unbelievable, it’s everything a large scale touristy spot isn’t… the food is incredible, the wine is paired to perfection.
The very passionate owner took his time with us to explain every last detail of the menu, ingredients, wine and the story behind them all… we turned our menus over to him and it was our best night in Italy, and that’s with over 30+ of them.
I can’t say enough about the quaint and cozy environment, the hands on service we received and the food quality was second to none.
If you’re visiting outside of summer where they have the time to meet and greet, wine and dine you… this is a 5 star experience in such an amazing and small mid-evil Tuscan town.
Make sure you order the Divina Villa!
