I weigh a good aperitif. Of course the location is not excellent, but the restaurant is clean and the service is fast and courteous. But I haven't tried the restaurant

A fantastic place: super welcoming, elegant, tastefully furnished place... High quality service and very courteous, professional, friendly staff... A place where you want to return, to stay, to experience even for a simple aperitif. Absolutely amazing.

Had lunch on a Saturday. Caught good and plentiful tonnarelli in the east wind. On the other hand, the tonnarelli with wild boar ragù were tasteless and of limited quantity. Nice location even if it was very hot with the air conditioner not cooling. Friendly staff. With 2 coffees and 2 bottles of water you spent €36.

It's always a pleasure to return to eat at this bistro. The menu is always a treat that we all deserve every now and then. Melania welcomed us and served us with kindness, friendliness and always smiling. In my opinion, the trio of tartare and the linguine with clams, courgette flowers and bottarga are absolutely worth trying. Always worth coming back from time to time.

Posto molto carino anche se un tantino isolato. Mangiato bene, bella atmosfera, forse solo un po' caldo data la giornata afosissima.

I often went with my family. We ate well. The dishes are presented in a very original way. The environment, although small, is very welcoming. The location is convenient, because it is near my house.

14/09/2023: The stars are for the staff. The guys are nice, very nice Emili and the others too. The food is poor. The panna cotta was glue. The environment could be decent if they eliminated the really ugly fake plants. The owner does not allow the kids to acquire tips through the ATM. This is due to the greed of acquiring the costs at a later time. Reprehensible.
12/08/2023: Food: 4 stars because the cuisine is varied and well cooked. Service: 3 stars because that's fine, nothing less and nothing more. Environment: 3 stars because it's ok. The only sore point is that you can't charge 50 cents for a glass of water... we are in Rome, not in the north. Rather tell it that you have to pay for a glass of bottled water and not fountain water. This thing slightly penalized my review. But overall I recommend the buffet lunch because everything is really good.

05/08/2024: La Grotta Azzurra is a historic fish restaurant in the San Giovanni area which, despite having changed management, has managed to maintain its renowned quality. Located at street level, the restaurant continues to be a point of reference for fish lovers. The menu offers a wide choice of fish-based dishes, prepared with fresh ingredients and served with care. Despite the change of management, prices have remained affordable, making the restaurant accessible to all. The only negative aspect (but I don't know if it was a coincidence) is that the place is too crowded and there are many tables arranged close together; this can make the environment a little too chaotic. However, the overall experience remains very good and I think I will return. Recommended for those looking for good fish cuisine at reasonable prices.
