Great place, great food and lovely service

We left the restaurant after dinner with mixed feelings. The small restaurant has a pleasantly rustic charm and the lady of the house was very hospitable, with one exception. Although only one table was occupied inside, we, like the following guests, were denied the nicer tables by the window. The landlady fills the place very decisively from the back to the front. Presumably the beautiful window seats should remain free as a decoy for passers-by for as long as possible. That was a bit strange, but not bad either. What was less nice was that one of the meals (pasta à la Carbonara) was initially served cold. It was heated up again in the kitchen, but our “shared” dinner had to be held at a different time. We were annoyed that when we ordered we were "kindly" offered a choice of different noodles, but without any indication that only one version was available at the regular price. All others, including ours, cost an additional three euros extra each. So both dishes suddenly cost 12 instead of 9 euros. When asked about this, the landlady pointed to a handwritten note in the menu stating that homemade pasta costs more. Bad luck only for those guests who don't speak Italian. It seemed like a scam to us. The pasta dish itself was average, the portions were plentiful. The tiramisu for dessert was more reminiscent of a pudding in a glass and already had a fairly thick, dried skin on the surface. It still tasted good.

The food is excellent, very local. The owner is very friendly and the prices are affordable.

This restaurant is highly recommended. Every day they have a different menu and it always costs €14.50. Includes starter, main course, dessert and bottled water. It is a small family restaurant but very very very nice and cozy. The lady specified to us that everything is handmade « homemade ». The service was excellent. In the end we consumed a cappuccino for €2.50. There are other drinks that are just as cheap. If you are near the coliseum, you can't miss these super prices ❤️

We were a group of 8 people. The pasta, lasagna and pizza were good. The salad was the weakest of all. We really liked the hostess's treatment. It's a very, very touristic area so you know more or less what you'll find.

Excellent food, we appreciated the possibility of choosing the cooking and type of pasta.
