A very welcoming and well-kept place. The dishes are all delicious and prepared with great care. The staff is knowledgeable and always available. I always come back for a meal with great pleasure!

If you're in Grosseto, you absolutely must come here... the food is exquisite! Gluten-free options include risotto with radicchio and hazelnuts, and pasta with vongole and rapeseed. The desserts are spectacular! Stefania's service makes this place a 10/10. Thank you!

Lunch with a friend, top restaurant, limited seating, but super, excellent food and service. Highly recommended. The owner was so kind he even gave us an umbrella because it was raining. (I'll pass it on to you.)

We were passing through and stopped for lunch. It was a pleasant surprise. The restaurant is run by young, talented people. The food is good and the service is perfect. Excellent value for money.

You will not find the home made ships, not the ink pasta you might saw the photos on internet. I had a chickpeas bread with anchovies. It was not very tasty. Then followed with spaghetti with clams and glasswort. Creative and tasty! Then pork garu pasta without interest and too salty

The food is really very good. The service is very friendly and helpful. However, we found the portions a bit too small. None of us were really full. And for the price, we had hoped to be satisfied. Generally recommended, but I hope the portions will be larger in the future...

La Carbonaia BBQ Restaurant.

25/09/2025: This has become a must-try for anyone passing through the area... there's no other place like it: an outdoor restaurant shaded by the beautiful Maremma pines, but otherwise managed as if it were indoors (the furniture is well-made, not beach-style...). The staff is more than friendly, and the quality is excellent! Try the Florentine steak (!!!) and the truffle puree!

05/01/2026: I drive almost 2 hours to come here. Perfect! Don't get mislead from the outside look Update 6th time back: Usually if you were happy, don't go back. In this case always go back!
