The food is good. The wait times, however, are unreasonable...a good half hour between dishes. They also offer a tourist menu at one price, but then add the cover charge at checkout. It seems like a ruse that doesn't pay off...

Excellent food and good value. Outdoor seating overlooking the square; there's a bit of foot traffic, but it's not bothersome. The waitress was very kind and helpful. Service was quick. Recommended for a quick lunch with local dishes.

Bar Italia

15/02/2026: Spritz and Prosecco, perfect in quantity and price. Two spectacular platters and... excellent service with a smile from both waitresses. We live in Bagnolo but we love to go to Bar Italia in Barge for aperitifs.... wow, keep it up!
19/01/2026: The staff and owner were very friendly and the food was very good. I'm a vegetarian but there was nothing and they prepared a really good focaccia with vegetables just for me.
