A true gem in the heart of Palermo! At Bisso Bistrot, everything is just right: the atmosphere, the service, and above all... the food. The sardine pasta? Killer. The stuffed squid? Tender, generous, perfectly paired with flavorful vegetables. A genuine, local cuisine, full of flavor. In short, a must-visit for those who want to experience Palermo with a smile. Go for it.

A relaxed place to have a glass of wine and meal. I enjoyed the pannelle and a dish of the seat with chicken and sweet red onion relish. Good prices for lovely food. Would recommend

I loved eating there. You can discover so many culinary specialties, and their cassata is incredible. Great recommendations and the staff are great with us, even with each other.

Very good food at more than fair prices in the center of Palermo: fast, courteous and helpful service. In a chaos of tourist restaurants or acclaimed by reviews but that then do not treat you adequately if you are not from the area, I think it is truly a pearl. Recommended!

Based on a trusted travel guide recommendation, we sought out Bisso Bistrot—and it exceeded expectations in every way. Perfectly located at the Quattro Canti, it offers an authentic Sicilian experience far from the typical tourist traps. It was excellent on both of our visits—lunch and dinner. We enjoyed great pasta, fish, salad and soup that were simply outstanding—dishes that felt genuinely homemade, reminiscent of traditional family cooking. The cuisine stays true to Sicilian roots, with thoughtful reinterpretations that remain accessible and honest. Prices are more than reasonable, especially considering the location (and quality, of course) Service is excellent. The staff was consistently friendly, fast, and helpful, even though we don’t speak Italian. Despite not having a reservation, we were accommodated at the narrow bar along the wall, and the experience remained impeccable. This looks like a place where locals and informed travelers alike gather. Do consider booking in advance—it gets busy for good reason.

I forgot to take a picture on time. This pasta was amazing. The best one I had in Palermo. I had the Homemade pasta with zucchini and it was delicious

Very busy - might have to book and clearly popular with the locals. In the whole food was pretty good the only disappointing dish was the fritta mista which consisted of what appeared to be frozen calamari and two small fried anchovies. Location is great and the service friendly.

Posizione splendida, cucina fantasiosa ma con sguardo sulle tradizioni, personale giovane, simpatico, attento ed accogliente. Un locale da provare.

Centralissimo e storico essendo una ex libreria. Abbiamo preso un aperitivo ma già si è capito la professionalità e la competenza del posto. Vino bianco non filtrato davvero buono!.
