We had a fantastic lunch at Bisso Bistrot. The service was extremely friendly and the food was very good!

Excellent food!! The only restaurant I visited on the island that doesn't charge for covers, and you pay what the food is actually worth. The water price wasn't as high as other places. Very centrally located in Palermo.

Everything we tried was very good. We ordered potato salad with anchovies, busiate pasta with sea bass, and hake knots with cheese, along with two large beers, bread, and a large water for just €40. I recommend it.

Quality food, but service is a bit slow. Had eggplant, fried cod and fish cus cus, all tasty

The prices are reasonable, the portions are generous and delicious!

Visiting Palermo our rental host suggested this place, and I can see why. Looks to have local dishes in a lively neighborhood. Other restaurants down the street use staff to draw you in, this restaurant has a chalk sign and folks were fine waiting 20 minutes for a table (for big groups, couples were seated within 5 minutes). The staff was fluent in English (but a tiny bit harried running around covering their tables). Food came quickly and was tasty and fresh. We had the Polpette de melanzane (eggplant balls), the sarde a Bellofico (sardines with breadcrumbs, currants and pine nuts), and Cous Cous di pesce e verdura. I am a tinned fish fan, and the sardines were amazing. We have a few more days in the trip and may go back to try more things.

Aufgrund einer Empfehlung haben wir dieses Lokal anvisiert. Leider waren wir etwas zu früh dran, da die Küche wohl erst ne Stunde später richtig das Kochen anfängt und wohl noch vorbereitet. Wir waren mit Kind unterwegs und die aufmerksame Bedienung hatte in der Küche angefragt ob Sie für uns was machen können. Wir haben dann zwei improvisierte Gerichte (Uova Purgatori und Riso Pollo) bekommen, welche hervorragend geschmeckt hatten. Preis war super für diese hervorragende Lage. Service war einwandfrei, hier wird Kundenfreundlichkeit noch groß geschrieben!

Posizione splendida, cucina fantasiosa ma con sguardo sulle tradizioni, personale giovane, simpatico, attento ed accogliente. Un locale da provare.
