Very characteristic place, you can have lunch outside in the summer period which is very pleasant. They produce a wonderful assortment of biscuits and very good ones!!!! Even the bread they produce is good. The owners are very kind and nice people. Go the first time and then come back as soon as you can like I did. Thank you

Ispirata dal nome Battifollo, mi sono imbattuta in questo splendido posto. Qui trovi molta cortesia, alta qualità del cibo quasi tutto a km 0. Un’oasi di pace rigenerante sotto tutti punti di vista. Tra l’altro hanno un brevetto tutto loro per i biscotti…

Returning to Turin from Liguria, my partner and I made a small detour to visit the ruins of the Battifollo castle and find some refreshment in a cool place. Walking through the village, looking for something to drink and snack on, I came across this bakery/bistro which was already promising from its presentation and reviews. The shop is fantastic: organic biscuits of their own production carefully displayed in an ancient wooden cupboard, nice selection of wines and other goodies displayed in the windows and corners. Peering around a bit in the other room of the restaurant, I also saw a magnificent kitchen with windows. Outside there is a very well-kept green corner with tables, benches and deck chairs, ideal for a break. The managers are disarmingly kind and friendly. The owner served me a generous glass of Chardonnay and complimented me with some delicious biscuits called "corn leaves" (which I then purchased) and his wife served an excellent fresh Malvasia to my partner, telling me a few anecdotes about biscuits and dishes of their laboratory which I greatly appreciated. We will be back soon to enjoy more. Go there because it is a small reality that is really worth it.
